Of course there's going to be a sequel. RE is an ongoing series after all. Whether it will be on 3DS is another matter.

I am aware that Resident Evil : Revelations is between Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5

But i dont think that anything in Revelations has to do with anything in 5.

Althought at the end there is a small but very minimal hint.


BUT for those who have seen the ending.
The one after the credits.

It's obvious there will be a sequel to revelations.
That is NOT 5.

I've seen the ending too, and if there is indeed a sequel, I don't doubt that it'll be released on the 3DS. Capcom seems to have really enjoyed developing Revelations for the 3DS, one of the men involved with the project even said he regretted that the title couldn't be a numbered Resi.
