I'm at the part where jill and parker go back into the hall after the swimming part and they go into a glass elevator and that tentacle attacks me, but i have no ammo at all, where can I find some / what gun should I use?

I think you can get ammo by street passing with people. Other than that I'd suggest backtracking a bit and scanning every room, you might find some. You may also be able to go back to a weapon box and get some other guns if you found any.

Scan, scan and scan. Restart the chapter and scan all over the place.

If you have Streetpassed people with the game, you should be able to obtain more ammo by going into missions or you can do some co-op raid mode style and get some ammo that way also.

Otherwise, you may have to restart the chapter and make a conscious effort to conserve ammo which is the point of RE anyway.

as far as i know, the normal mode gives an ample amount of ammo even if you plan to kill all of the enemies you encountered, considering you have 60-80% of accuracy and were able to find all of those hidden items using genesis scanner... also try to change weapon when you have time if one of your guns are out of ammunition or have less ammo than your other weapons.

My reccomendation is that you streetpass the same person multiple times to get items. You can get grenades, ammo, and missions. Also, if you do raid mode online with someone, you get a care package mission containing ammo or grenades. You also get a special mission for raid mode.
