It's much easier to swim with the CPP I've tried both & it's a nightmare without it. But I agree that there should be less swimming in future titles, as it didn't really offer any scares, or anything cool.

Eh its not too bad, I just don't like how it takes away from the action. Maybe just have one level with swimming in future games.

I agree. It's not necessarily that bad... Just unnecessary. Granted, the majority of the game is set on a boat. I would've been surprised if they didn't incorporate any type of water mechanic. I just wish they stuck more to waist-level.

I actually liked it. It made sense given the setting and the theme. All things considered it's a lot better than a lot of other games I've seen with swimming segments. Ninja Gaiden, Monster Hunter, and Devil May Cry all come to mind.

I agree. The fact that you can't change the camera to inverted during swimming just makes it even worse for me.

Yes I am one of those inferior gamers who prefer inverted controls.

I actually think swimming is handled pretty well.And i also think the scariest part of the game is the swimming parts because you can't do anything to the enemies.
I like the controls for it too.Only thing CCP has with this game is that it makes holding the 3DS really comfortable.

The only thing i don't like about swimming is,if you touch an object,you get stuck.It's annoying as ****.

I don't mind the swimming, it makes some levels a lot more intense. But those swimming creatures that can't be killed (just stunned) annoy the hell out of me. Please simply let me stab those bastards!

I think the swimming is okay but I also agree it can go for the later titles.
