I got mine the day it was released in Australia. I took it to work a few times, but mostly it stayed at home...so it didn't surprise me that I didn't have any streetpasses. Then last night, I took it with me to EB Games while my daughter purchased her red 3DS (she had been saving for around a year)...and I got 2 while shopping (probably both were from EB)...and 1 more after we set up my daughter's 3DS. So, none for so long, then 3 in one day.

Had a few friends and my brother from launch, then took it to town the other week and got five hits just walking around shopping. My bro went to australia recently for 3 weeks and got about 10 hits and pieces for the puzzles we didn't have.

Got two more today at a different mall than I normally go to, just walking around with a buddy and my wife. First time I've gotten a hit from an actual kid. I know this because he was coming out of GameStop with his 3DS in hand, that and his Mii looks just like him. The other person, I have no clue where I passed him.

Somehow I feel a bit uncomfortable today... not really scared... Today I went to my office and while I was waiting for the elevator, I got a street pass hit... Then I had my dinner break and ate and I got a hit from the same person. After eating I went to the arcades for some games and I got hit by the same person again! I tried to look around but found nobody who's holding a 3ds... either that person is following me coz i have a 3ds or he/she just digs the same things i do.

I got about 50+ streetpasses today when i went to the Nintendo Connection Tour here at Westfield chatswood. I had a blast playing all the upcoming Nintendo games.
I advanced 3 rooms on the streetpass quest and 2 and a half puzzle panels. |

My current stats on StreetPass Mii Plaza:
339 unique Miis 357 total StreetPasses I live in Japan and travel quite frequently through Nagoya Station, a goldmine of StreetPass hits. It is so StreetPass-rich these days, you get 10 Miis within a few minutes (at which point the system stops accepting new StreetPasses until you accept the current ones), and while you're standing there greeting all of them and ushering them into your StreetPass Mii Plaza, you'll get ten MORE StreetPass hits during that time! No joke! That said, I have finished StreetPass Quest five times now and got all the puzzle pieces way back in June. There is nothing to do now. |

There's some fresh new 3DS consoles in the wild! Saturday, I went to Universal Orlando and StreetPassed with 5 people (4 gentlemen, and 1 lady) and none of them had a plaza population larger than 12. 2 of them had only 2 person Plaza Populations and one of those people had 12 tags. can you imagine having streetpassed 1 person 11 times? 1 person had 134 tags from 11 people! I can't imagine so little. personally, I have 85 tags from 64 different people. (plaza population always includes yourself)

My 4th hit was a pretty strange experience.. About two weeks ago I went to my gran's farm and slept there for a few days. She lives there on her own and I was sent there by my parents to keep her company. She lives in the middle of nowhere; you have to drive two hours to find the closest neighbour..
During the first night I was playing Zelda on my 3ds. After 40 minutes I decided to go to sleep. Just when I wanted to turn off my 3ds, I noticed that I got a streetpass hit! It really scared me, seriously, who could have been that person. It was 11:30 PM and, like I've said before, my gran lives hours away from civilization.. So either my gran secretly owns a 3ds, which I highly doubt, or someone was near the farm.. So you can imagine why I freaked out. |

I rarely get any. The first day I used StreetPass I went to a mall for a few hours and got three people, but now I barely get any. I take my 3DS to my school everyday which is downtown and near a lot of people, and have only gotten 2 for doing that. In Japan this is probably as common as having rice for dinner.

I don't bring my 3DS with me to college (although I brought it to High School even though there's a couple of thieves there lurking about) so I haven't gotten any passes in a long time... Mainly because I'm scared of dropping it and giving it a scratch before I get to put a case on it. X_x *getting one for Christmas* Secondly worried about thieves but I'm unsure if someone would have the eggs to just snatch it or anything... I'm smart enough to always keep it on me so that'd pretty much be the only way to.

I got 45 at a Zelda Skyward Sword event in NYC were you got a game a day early. I also got 20 at SM3D launch at NintendoWorld NYC. My plaza population is 105. My first was my friend at summer camp. We got each other every day for a month. It made the plaza games easy

Also, how is this possible. I Streetpassed with a girl named Xalaga who has only 29 tags, but a Streetpass Population of 98???

I got my first streetpass hit two days ago, after getting my 3DS last week and carrying it around with me everywhere :P It was so exciting!!
Its from a Japanese guy (I assume he's in his 20s or so from his Mii, although those can be misleading) and was playing Monster Hunter. I'll try hitting up a mall or something next week, It'd be nice to fill out my puzzle |

My first 2 streetpasses were with 2 of my cousin's, after that, i got a 2nd one at Vintage Stock (used game store), it was probably their demo setup that i passed by. My nephew was in a Christmas parade a week ago, i rode with him on the trailer and took the 3DS with me. After we left the parade, i noticed that i got 2 passes, but that's all I've gotten so far. I try and take it every time I go to the store, but still haven't got any at wal-mart or target or anywhere. Hopefully after Christmas more people will have a 3DS and i can get more.

I went to a packed mall yesterday and got zero..Was kind of disappointed because I hadn't gotten any yet but today I went to a different mall and got 3 street pass hits..used them to help me defeat some find mii armored guy and damage a big ghost.
I want more though! I need to find some nintendo events to go too..although I don't think there is much in Canada? |

be careful, I lost a Streetpass today. I don't know how I did it, but I must have accidentally deactivated streetpass from the notifications screen when I meant to click "launch software". When Plaza did launch it says Streetpass wasn't active and the one I did get was gone. somewhere in East Orange County Florida someone has me on their system, but I don't have them.

I just had a HomePass Hit, no kiddin'! Was sitting next to my 3DS while it was loading when suddenly the green light lit up. Checked: StreetPass Hit! Somebody must have passed inside the house or right outside?! A hit without even leaving the house, a HomePass indeed

I have a question about StreetPass and didn't know where else to post it. I posted on a Mario Kart forum, but didn't receive any response.
On my second day of owning this game, I was super pleased to pick up a StreetPass. It has been 3 days since then and the individual's stats that have been stored on on the StreetPass Tags have not changed. His VR, Wins, Losses, Coins Collected & StreetPass Tags (0) have not changed. How can he have 0 tags when I tagged him??? My question is this: 1) Does this mean that this person has not been playing Mario Kart or 2) Do I only keep the information that was received at that time, and his daily progress does not automatically transfer over to my 3DS ? This is so confusing to me! Everytime I check on Friends/Opponents option,he is listed, but I can't initiate a race or anything. Please explain the whole StreetPass thing to me because if this person has been playing his Mario Kart, and that data hasn't been transferred to my 3DS (with potential earnings of his new items , ghost data, or whatever), then I really don't see the point in using StreetPass feature in Mario Kart if there is no way to actually race local karters or benefit from it. Also, how would I know if a StreetPass is from a human or a demo from Target or other retail? |

Real Life: I had brought my 3DS with me while shopping at Target and it must have transfered while I was in the parking lot or at an (busy) intersection. There is also a GameStop nearby at the time. It's hard to say where it came from. But I am discouraged because now that I have his Mii (assuming it is a person like myself and not a demo at a store), I can't really use him if no further data is being transmitted... I was under the assumption that now that I had connected with him, I could benefit from having his progress being sent to my 3DS in order to earn lockables (since I won't have the time to play Mario Kart everyday). It would also be special to race with someone who lives nearby, or race his time trial ghosts. Oh well. |

i'm not a fan of Mario Kart adding people to Streetpass Plaza. I feel like the Plaza is a collection of people I've made a connection with, a secret handshake with in real life. We've all been in the same place at the same time. At least it is easy to tell the difference between Streetpassers and Kartmiis

I live in quite a small town and the only time I have a streetpass hit is when I go to the city (even then I'm lucky to get one!). However, today I popped out into town for about an hour and got 3 hits! Also received data for MK7 and 3D Land for the first time. God bless Christmas sales! Things are really looking up now

Ever since I sold my Cosmo black 3DS about 3 months ago, and replaced it with this read ( about 3 weeks ago ), I've gotten like 5x the amount of street pass hits in half the time. I guess those holidays really helped.
You'd be surprised how many 3DS's I've had to stock at work this christmas.

i am from United Arab Emirates and yesterday i was in Dubai mall its a big mall and have a lot of people from a lot of regions i have walked like 10,000 steps around the mall and i got nothing when i reach 20,000 i said i will back home because i didnt find some one , while i am back when i get to the car i check my 3DS Green light ! it was a girl from france lol my first streetpass i was very sad before i met her via streetpass
i knew some one has a 3DS in this BIG MALL lol ! but really i dont see any people in this fourm from United Arab Emirates thats mean i am the only one in this fourm >.< this make me look like a nerd and i am 14 years old boy who like 3DS bla bla bla then steetpass

Now all the school kids are back on the train: Not one single hit! Neither in the morning, nor in the afternoon. I'm a little disappointed, would have thought there are more kids with a 3DS around...

It was at this 7-11 opening where hot dogs, slurpees and other stuff were 50 cents each. I think I either got it when I was in the store or when they were holding the raffle.

I was checking out DS games at Best Buy, with my little sister, and this little boy kept passing us saying "Excuse me." When I leave the store my sister mentions we got a street pass hit.... I think it was that little boy... you little kids, you creep me out. Stop passing me!

Living in Birmingham it's actually not too hard to get streetpass' probably 3-5 every time I go the city centre.

After 10 months of owning a 3DS, I finally had a streetpass hit. 2 of them! ^_^
It isn't much considering other hot spots in the US< but its nice to finally run into someone doing streetpassing as I am (and most importantly, is aware of it). I was quite excited as you can imagine when I got back in my car from the mall at best buy.

Darn! The entire last week I carried my 3DS with me - no hit. Today it was around freezing so I left it at home. OF COURSE while waiting for the train a mom drove past me with the boy eagerly playing on his 3DS (cosmos).
 Nah, I'm sure he had StreetPass disabled...

I got a streetpass from either a Walmart or from somewhere else. I'm from Ohio and I live in Kentucky and it said they were from Montana....such a random state for me since it is so far out of the way. Oh well! One out of the way state done for me.
I'm at 9 tags now

I got 5 today and total street pass tags is at 614. Most of those came from fan conventions like fanime,comic-con,wondercon etc.... and you'll be surprised by how many street pass tags you'll get over there.

I think I got about 6 yesterday! I get one every day from work though
. Still find it funny when I owned one before I got 3 in 1-2 months, now I can get double that in one day.
