This is pretty simple - If you're going on hiatus, or are returning from a long absence, you can use this thread to say your goodbyes or announce your return.

Sustained absence notice
I know this probably shouldn't warrant a thread, and I'm sorry, but it's a quick way to get the news out, and I don't want people to think I ditched the forums or something.
I am taking a sustained absence from this website from: June 16th-July 2nd July 5th-July 21st I doubt I'll be able to be on the forums during those two periods of time. I'll be on vacation/at summer camps. Again, sorry for the thread, but it's much easier to spread word this way. I'll miss you guys!

Hey guys. Its been fun. I am probably not going to be on here for a while. While the 3DS library picks up speed I'll be concentrating on rebuilding (from the ground up) my Sega Genesis collection. As this includes some research for repairs, modifications, and collection data research a lot of my non-gaming gaming time must be spent somewhere else. But I will drop in and return once I get everything squared away and start playing enough 3DS again to have something to talk about! If your interested in this kinda thing yourself or want to keep up with me you can find me at sega-16 forums as Gunstar Zero or see videos I'll post about my quest under the name XAdmiralSX on youtube. Not new, but since I've been away for a couple months after selling my crappy Cosmo black 3DS I have finally replaced it. Why was it crappy? Screen rubbing, wobbly screen... just didn't need it at the time.
I wasn't planning on replacing one since I pre-ordered 2 3G pre-release Playstation Vita bundles, but Target had a 3 day sale ad that was too good to pass up ( I also get employee discount ). 3DS was $169.99 with a $50 gift card on purchase. Employee Discount -$12.00 Red Card Discount -$4.90 Tax +$5.21 Facebook Target Coupon for $10 gift card if you spend $50 or more. Total : $98 spent for a 3DS . Fire Red. Gosh! It's been a while! I never posted here too much when I was here, but I knew this forum was great when I was here! I mean, it's so popular! Also, back when I was posting, I gave out the FC to my brother's 3DS. Well, it's not mine, obviously. I couldn't play on it as often as if it were my own. Plus, back then, the only game worth playing was Super Street Fighter IV: 3D Edition. But now, there are many upon many of great games coming out; some of which, already have! I also got my own 3DS now! Got the limited edition Zelda 3DS for Christmas! I updated my profile, including my new friend code, so we can play together! I usually frequent the Zelda Universe forums (does anyone recognize me?), but with all these circumstances, I just had to come back! I'm sure there are plenty of new people I am going to meet along the way as well! Especially since this forum is so popular! I mean, you've got around 150 members on right now, and it is night time (in the United States)! I am really looking forward to making a fresh start here! Let's go!!! |

Hello everyone, I'm back. Thanks to an unforseen event at Gamestop, I managed to snag a 3DS, Mario Kart and SM3DL for only $80(I sold my previous one months back for $180). Combining the facts that I no longer had a 3DS and ran into some..."issues", I didn't really think it was a good idea to stick around. But life is to short, people on this forum are awesome, and hey, the 3DS is slowly starting to become the system I hoped it would be. Mario Kart, in particular, has greatly surprised me. Adding the glider was much more of an impact then I originally anticipated...so I apologize to Mario Kart 7 and anyone who thought it would be great, as I did not.
That said, I hope to have some fun gaming times ahead. Hope to see you guys around! |
