This is a game that I haven't heard anyone really talking about. It's been three years now since Miyamoto confirmed that they were working on the game, and then everything about it went silent except for Miyamoto mentioned it was still being made a year ago. Does anyone think it will show up at this year's E3? Do you think it will still be for the Wii or will it have been moved to the Caf?? Maybe it became a 3DS games somewhere along the way?

I really wouldn't mind if it were announced as a Caf? launch title. The environments could benefit from the HD.

And yes, I searched the best I could for another thread about this, didn't find one. If someone does feel free to lock this one.

When i played Pikmin on my gamecube i felt like i was playing at the yard xD, so in the 3DS it wold be pretty damn awesome!

I agree with you. Although the 3D effect would be pretty cool, I think the better graphics of the Caf? would suit Pikmin more.

I hope it comes to 3DS. I think at least 1 game should be on 3DS for each character on the AR cards. And Pikmin is awesome, so I hope that comes soon.

It could be similar to the multiplayer in Pikmin 2.

I don't play Pikmin or even know what the series is about but I do know that its been a long time coming so I wouldn't be surprised if they did announce it at E3.

I also had no idea, so I researched it when I got my AR cards. It really sounded like a game I'd like so I went and got the wii version the other day. Absolutely love it and will get number 2 next time I'm at a place that sells it.

Pikmin was released for the Wii as part of Nintendo's New Play Control series.

I have been waiting years for this game. It would be a perfect launch title for Cafe.

They re-released it under the "New Play Control!" line of GameCube remakes.

It never interested me.

If they release a trilogy pack for wii2, I'll play them all, but I'm OCD to the max.

Pikmin 3 would be awesome.
It has a large chance of being for either Cafe or the 3DS.
-Cafe because Pikmin's been a console series, so it'd be a safe bet.
-3DS because (being the third title in a series), Pikmin 3 could pull off "Pikmin 3D" as a title, if you get what I'm trying to say (like Metal Gear Solid 3D).

There are so many possibilities for both systems gameplay-wise.

My Dad would kill for a Pikmin 3. Everyday when he got home from the office he'd kick me off the gamecube to play Pikmin all night. He keeps asking when they're going to make a new one, and was pissed as hell when I told him the wii game was just a remake. lol

I think they have all first party games like that mapped out. They probably thought Star Fox, F-Zero, and Pikmin would be better suited for the next gen..

it does, the game starts after the human race ends and pikmin 2 is about collecting everything thats left behind (if you havent figured that out)

ya they made a play control for pikmin and pikmin 2 (2 only came out every where but the us)
