Default How will you be watching E3?

With G4 gone, and done, I'm having a bit of a problem. I don't know where to watch E3. Are there any TV stations showing it now? I know I'll probably be useing Nintendo.com or IGN, but where do you watch E3? And if you've watched it online, is the live steaming terrible? Does it buffer all the time?

I'll watch it on a variety of sites, including playstation.com and nintendo.com.
And no, if you have decent online, you'll have no problem with livestreams.

Great! At&t U-verse Does Not have G4. any other stations (like MTV) showing it like Microsoft did when they did the Kinect Briefing.

I honestly don't care if I get a spoiler or two searching for the other conferences, but I absolutely must watch Nintendo's conference live @ 9 AM on their feed. I'm actually going to sequester myself from the internet all Monday to avoid a spoiler situation like seeing the Goldeneye trailer or hearing about Retro doing a Donkey Kong game.

Besides, waiting a day makes it more likely that a site like Gamespot will have the full Sony and Microsoft conferences ready for viewing. Well, that or on YouTube in chunks via IGN or some other channel.

I'll see Nintendo's on their E3 website, as for Sony and Microsoft's, I'll most likely be on IGN or GameSpot.

Nintendo's stream last year was ROCK SOLID for me, and I'm in Ireland so my Internet wouldn't be the best.
GameSpot is pretty good too, and GT.
IGN is terrible, the stream breaks up constantly.

It's a TV network that premiered in the early part of last decade devoted entirely to video games. They then fused with another network called TechTV, leading to another good year for the network.

Somewhere mid-last decade (I believe 2005), new management redesignated the channel as a "male lifestyle network" in the vein of Spike TV. This resulted in the cancellation of almost every tech or game related show and filled it with shows rejected by FOX, reruns of Cops and Cheaters and other original crud like Star Trek 2.0. The only two shows about tech and games left, Attack of the Show and review show X-Play aren't even worth watching.

Back in their golden age, they even introduced an annual awards show (think the awards on Spike but actually good) called G-Phoria. The first one had a series leading up to it hosted by Adam West. The show within a few years became completely worthless.

So there's the sad story of a channel gone from gaming and tech bliss to a place where some people watch E3 live every year. Some don't even do that because they dispise the channel so much.

Well if you got an xbox, I am sure Microsoft will have their event on their. Since we cut the cord to cable/satellite and using OTA antenna for local hd and a roku box, I will be watching the e3 from Media Fly on Roku.

If someone doesn't care that much about watching the conferences live, they can go to IGN's YouTube channel sometime long after it ended. It'll be in chunks, but there's no real risk of dropout. Gamespot is also good if someone wants to watch it straight through. Separate videos can also be useful if they want to read or leave their own reactions to a specific part.

The internet.

Didn't YouTube do some sort of live broadcast last year? I remember watching Sony's on YouTube.

Edit: I think you'll be able to watch all streams live at www.youtube.com/e3

I won't be home to watch E3 live, but if Nintendo is going to show a re-run of their showing that day then I will watch it on Nintendo's website, maybe IGN if they have it first.

Yeah, that was IGN, and it sucked worse than the streams on their own website.

Nintendo's E3 site says the stream starts at 9 am PDT, which is in LA, right? so what time should I get to the site in Houston, TX? I'm bad with time zones. :/

I think it's 11 am??

To confirm, yes it is 11AM.
For those on the East Coast, like meh, it's 12 NOON.

Yeh, I watched the Gamespot feed as well, I also checked out Gametrailers and that was good too. The Xbox.com feed was absolute rubbish though, completely unwatchable for me.
