i give it a 5 or 6
move looked meh, the 3d tv thing is niche as it gets, vita price was good as could be expected, lineup very familiar in fact - every big studio lineup has been very familiar and for the most part i bet nintendo will be too but at least cafe will be original so far my e3 impression is 'its all been done'. nothing new under the sun |

9 out of 10
amazing job at giving the consumer what they wanted with a LOW price tag for the Vita, great ps3 games announced, including Sly 4, and that really cool 3d tv that doesn't show split-screen as the typical split-screen that we've all come to know and love... it's going to be an amazing year for sony |

I give an 7.5.This rating is for PSVita, without it i would give 6.I believe that Vita is a serious warning for nintendo and microsoft not only for its new features and games but also for Vita's price....If nintendo is not carefull then sony will regain again the first position!!

9/10. Great conference, PS Vita = nice price worldwide launch 2011, day one purchase for moi.
Just found out that the UK/Europe won't get it until next year (but that's no surprise). Dropped my score to a 7/10 Last edited by 3DS-Oteric; 06-09-2011 at 09:48 PM. Reason: Info updated |

Here is I rate the Big 3!
Microsoft 8/10 Sony 10/10 Nintendo 10/10 I didn't like the Microsoft presentation as much as I wanted to. I was greatly impressed with the new XBOX TV service, Kinect Star Wars, Fable The Journey and Kinect Sports Season II but I was totally and completely disgusted with everything else and most especially was I disturbed and troubled by the extremely demonic and bloody trailer for Ryse. Anyway, Sony nearly put me to sleep with the PS3 first half of their presentation until Kobe Bryant took the stage to present NBA 2K12! It was then that I really mentally delved into the presentation. I was giddy with excitement once they showed the Sly Cooper trailer for the PS3. However, I was still feeling letdown by Sony, that was until they switched gears and got into the PSVita (formally NGP). I've have never really been a supporter of Sony because I was beyond letdown by the PSP. Daxter was the best PSP game ever but other than that Sony couldn't hold a candle to Nintendo's exciting DS library. Nevertheless, Sony really and truly won me last night with their presentation. I'm a handheld person by nature thanks to the GameBoy days of my childhood and so I'm head over heels into the PSVita. I really liked the LittleBigPlanet and PS Ruin trailers. One of my favorite PSP games is Hot Shots Golf and I really liked what I saw of Hot Shots Golf Next for the NGP. I also liked the fact that the graphics of the NGP are basically the same of those of the PS3. Plus, cross -platform gaming with the PS3 is beyond incredible. |

Sony E3 Conference:
I would give them 8 for the conference. There are couple of games that we already known and games that I think isn't that good. Too much focus of gameplay of games that has been announced for quite some time. However, they did a great job by surprising people with the price of PS Vita and some great games were announced for PS3 and PS Vita. Moreover, the bundles with the 3D TV, 3D glasses and resistance game were pretty interesting. I enjoyed Sony's presentation more than the Microsoft one. Microsoft E3 Conference: I would give them 3 for the conference. I expect them to be giving us more great games and surprises in the E3, in which they did surprised us but in a very bad way. Too much focus on games that were already announced, boring presentation and very predictable. To Halo fans, it might have been a great conference, other than that it was really boring. Only Tomb Raider that was pretty interesting to me in the Microsoft E3 Conference. I really wish the developer would have shown more of this stuff in the conference, hopefully we will hear some new stuff about Tomb Raider very soon. Nintendo E3 Conference: I would give them 9 for the E3 conference. There is not many information about the new consoles (Except its new controller and names) and the conference ended faster than expected, it seems to me that they want to wrap things up as quickly as possible. Moreover, there is not much 3rd party new games for the 3DS o.O ,this is worrying me a little bit. Good news is that they announced couple great games for the 3DS (I don't think I need to mention all those new great games from Nintendo). Moreover, they tried not to focus on previous contents on the 3DS games that has been featured last year which is great, they showed different gameplay and added stuff into the games which is good to us, the 3DS owners. Furthermore, they also announced the new controller for WiiU, even though the name isn't that great but the controller looks really great and once again Nintendo has raised the bar today. Microsoft: 4
Sony: 9 Nintendo: 8.5ish... I dunno. I was more excited about Vita than the Wii U. My Wii is the least played console I've ever had. I've gotta say the controller looks AWESOME though.. but it makes me wonder what kinda price tag this thing will have. The overall "feel" of Sony's E3 got me much more pumped up than Nintendo's. |

I would give Sony a C-
Nobody cares about the Move anymore(I know that's not true, but there is a reason the Move hasn't done as well as expected or been praised as highly as expected), and the 3D won't be relevant to everyone. The pricing of the PSV was easily the high point for me, and while the gaming line-up looks to have a case of much of the same, Uncharted is always good to have. As for the PS3...Sly 4 and the cool, unique new splitscreen function. Nothing fantastical here, at least not a lot of it. My ratings for the big 3: Sony: C- Microsoft: C+ Nintendo: C+ Microsoft got a double dose of Halo, Forza 4 footage, an updated Xbox Dashboard, more features to the already fantastic Xbox Live, and it had some cool Kinect support. However, we didn't see anything that new. Where are some Rare games? Why not show Alan Wake 2? Add that to some lackluster Kinect titles(I know Fable has gotten worse each release, but WTF!!!?) as well as it being quite similar to last year, and we have a passable show. Nintendo didn't show any new 3DS titles, but what it showed of already known ones was pretty good, especially Mario and Kid Icarus. The Wii U will be having a ton of potential, but as it stands, the way they revealed it was awful. Absolutely no games. A huge mistake. Controller looks neat, and will obviously be the buzz of the show. Honestly, I was disappointed with all 3 of them for different reasons. I was already expecting the two major Sony announcements(PSV price and Sly) so nothing awesome there, Microsoft didn't bring enough new-ness to the table and Nintendo failed at a proper console reveal. Mirosoft- C-
Sony-A Nintendo-A Microsoft was horrible... they went way overboard with kinect stuff.... everything was kinect.... i understand they should promote it, but I don't want to play some games with Kinect. (I know its an option with most) Sony Did a great Job. They addressed their PSN hack right away which was great, showed some good PS3 games. (INFAMOUS 2 IS AMAZING BTW) and then showed PSvita which looks great. Nintendo Also did a Great Job. The 3DS lineup got me Hyped up again for my 3DS. Games like Luigi's Mansion and Mario 3D, just a few ( No release time for Animal Crossing kinda upset me... didnt even mention it in confrence.) and then the Wii U. at first glance I was like meh, but then seeing the console and thinking about the possibilities i was hooked. |

Found the sony conference to much focused on the ps3 ( i could see why tho ). to less time for the vita ( they could have shown a lot more ). to much time spend on that waggle stuff, where nobody gives a crap about. Overall good presentation. Found microsoft, beyond boring. MW3 yes more of the same, mass effect 3 not my game, tomb raider was a cool etc. the kinect stuff was just plain boring. its great for the people that are into this stuff etc, but for the most people nobody gave a dam that day. Nintendo conference, solid as always. good presentation, showcased a lot. wii u massive disappointment, to less 3th party stuff for 3DS and first party basically wasn't something suprising. still good enough.

All three companies had some good marketing strategies: Microsoft with expanding its Kinnect game library, Sony with its Vita prices (although this may hurt them in terms of the bottom line), and Nintendo with its innovation. I give Microsoft a C, Sony a B, and Nintnedo a B+...in terms of "flashy conference."

I would give them a 6-7. The TV was pretty cool, but Walmart has a 42" glasses-free TV for $698 that was a 93% rating. That is a way better deal than the 20-something inch they offered.
The only thing that really excited me was the Vita. (Nintendo on the other hand won me over with the orchestra.) |

they took out the big guns with their PSVita (such a lame name). but they did shock everyone when they showed the specs and the price. word is they don't plan on making a profit off of it till 3 yrs.
God bless and happy gaming |

I give their conference a solid B (let's say 7.5/10.)
Firstly, the PSN fiasco was well handled. It was addressed to the ends to which it should be, but didn't take away from the conference. The games they showed were mostly stuff we already knew about, but they showed lots of content, and most importantly, the stuff they showed was exclusive. Some of the assorted stuff they had scattered in like the 3D TV deal was neat, but didn't really add to or detract from the conference. And finally, the Vita. If there was a bombshell this conference, this was it. The price totally blew everyone away, and that's a big move on Sony's part. The games they showed were neat, despite some being ports. I'd wish they showed more 3rd party stuff for the Vita, though. If I had to choose a winner for E3, it'd probably be Sony. That being said, it was a pretty crappy E3. Nobody blew me away. |

Nintendo: 8.5/10 (New hardware and a ton of good 3ds games... oh and a Zelda title.)
Xbox: 3/10 (Kinect and more Kinect... Despite have a ton of amazing titles coming out they focused on Kinect...) Sony: 7/10 (New hardware, and some good titles.) P.S. My favourite company right now is Microsoft so I'm not being Anti Xbox. (Though Nintendo pulled me back with the 3ds titles and I went and bought a 3ds same day as the conference.) |

I give it a 6.5/10
The 3D tv thing was cool and the Playstation vita's price point surprised me but there were no new PS3 games annouced other than i think that shoting game (I think it was called dust) plus i found the conference boring |
