At first I felt a little underwhelmed because I didn't know quite how to digest what I was given, but as I've had the day to think about it we do have a lot of things to be thankful for. Let's not forget plenty of content that has yet to even be released or even finished, and there's still 2 days left of the show to hear about 3rd Party 3DS efforts. I'm still not feeling the name entirely, but I'm not experiencing the need to force "REALLY?" out of dumbstruck lips either. I'm still hoping they shorten the name to Nintendo U. It happened with the Nintendo Ultra 64, and it could happen with this. Just go and compare this show to 2003 and 2008 and you'll see we've got no reason to riot angrily through the streets.
As I saw portables take the leap into good 3D games (not the crummy phone ones) with the DS and PSP, I wondered how long it would take to bring portables to the level of a console and then fuse the two together. Sony has practically PS3 visuals on the Vita, and Nintendo put a screen in their main controller.
It's all going according to plan. A bit dumb of them to not include multitouch, but
it's still all going according to plan. I'm doing Mr. Burns' "Excellent" pose when I'm saying that, just in case you were wondering.

Okay, someone needs to make a flash cartoon of this. NOW!
