Many more Pok?mon.

And a sort of Nintendogs style, up and close stroke your pok?mon in HD :P.
I know it is asking for too much... But I want to be able to play with my Pok?mon.

OMFG. Just remembered Pok?mon Colloseum. I WANT THAT.

POKEMON COLLOSEUM 3DS.

Arrow

Going with the current releases of re-makes, most likely they will either being making a Crystal (2nd gen) or Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald (3rd gen) remakes.

Personally I would love a 3rd gen remake as I loved that generation the best for the Pok?mon releases.

It will be a long while before there is a 6th Gen as Black/White is still being released in Japan and that's 5th gen, so a new season/gen may take awhile.

Hopefully this thread won't be as full of derp as the last one.

^ That looks amazing. Hopefully a Colosseum sequel comes out looking at least half as good as that.

Well, I'd like Pokemon Grey to be similar to Black/White, but with differences.

1)Disable the grid. They should be able to do this, if they want a truly immersible 3D Pokemon game.

2)Upgraded Pokedex. Something like what we have for the 3DS now, where its actually useful. Looks cool, and tells you the moves and stats, it would be awesome.

3)3D Graphics. 'Nuff said.

4)Announcer guy. Admit it, he's awesome. I'd like him to be in just certain battles, like Gym, Elite, and multi-player.

5)Pokemon to follow you around. They should add this, I mean, they already have the 3D models, just let them follow you around.

And thats all I would ask for from the 3DS Pokemon game.

I honestly think that is possible, if they plan on making "Pokemon Grey" a 3ds exclusive or making Pokemon Grey in the first place. I doubt they'll bring back letting your pokemon out for a walk, but wishful thinking...

I really think they should let Pokemon follow. Program wise, it would be even easier then in HG/SS, since instead of making new sprites, they can just reuse the 3D battle models. They did the same thing in the Gamecube titles. (Using Pokemon battle models for the overworld, not letting them follow you.) Plus, who doesn't want Wailord to follow you.

Pig + ignite. Clever, yet simple. It's a pretty decent name, actually. At least it makes sense.

You may be over looking the other 493 pokemon. I don't think they willb ecause it was sort of a just g/s/c thing that made it's return in the remakes. I think they should, but doubt they will. :c

How about secret bases' data sent over via street pass. Like, if you streetpass somebody with the game, the secret base appears on yours.

i honestly dont see why gamefreak didnt introduce character customization yet.....it eludes me.....unless they are just going by the anime/manga in which your character is supposed to be the main character of the manga

The two main Versions are Black and White.

The third Pokemon in the Dragon trio is Grey.

I doubt it will be called 'Pokemon Rainbow'.

I'm sorry, but I disagree with these "house and bases" ideas. They're better suited for simulation titles. I don't want to decorate my house in Pokemon, I wanna battle.

Anyway, we want a deeper storyline. Not too deep; like Zelda deep. Even for a game aimed toward kids, this is just too silly. We want to see something other than villains kidnapping Pokemon. We want near-death situations. And no cheesy lines, please. "Pokemon are our friends!" I don't know how many times I've heard this line before. 521? Nah. more.

Also, for new Pokemon, please don't use objects as source material while creating them. They should be based off animals or just...new. Vanillite, seriously? So you're saying a Pokemon mated with an ice cream? Ehhm.
(I'd lick it.)

Anyway, yeah...they better keep these things in mind.

I'd hate to burst your bubble, but Pokemon don't have any set things to be based off of. They can be based on animals, plants, robots, myths, legends, objects, etc. This has been since Gen. 1, I mean, I can't think of an animal that looks like a Magnemite. Plus, Chandelure and Golurk are two of the best Gen. 5 designs, and they're both based off of Objects. And Vanniluxxe is a boss.

Also, I might get hate for this, but I think Pokemon should concentrate less on story, and more on exploration, multi-player and optional places. One of the few things I hate is that in Gen 5, they force you to explore just about every inch of the map. They should be like the first two, were you didn't have to explore all these places, but if you chose to, you found amazing new Pokemon and items. Maybe even a Legendary.

At this point, I believe the wi-fi battling rules need to be way more flexible. Allowing 6v6 Flat rule, single battles for one. Online co-op battle subway would also be nice.

That's why I said "new." I was referring to Pokemon like Polygon and Magnemite. They're not animals, but they're not everyday objects either. Golurk is okay, but I don't think Chandelure is a very good design. That Pokemon is popular just cause it's powerful and has a new type combination. Would you have the same opinion if it was as weak and annoying as a Metapod with harden? I'm not so sure about that.

Vanillite is an ice cream. It's a MOVING ICE CREAM. IT'S A GIANT VANILLA ICE CREAM IN A CONE. IT INTERACTS WITH OTHER POKEMON. IT'S FOOOOD. IT'S A FIGHTING DESSERT.

Multiplayer in Pokemon is good...I don't know what's lacking in it exactly. Exploration is fine I guess, but the places are...more of the same. There's always that sandy area, and that snowy area, and that stupid area with ice puzzles. Ugh.

A good storyline in a RPG is a must.

Well, I like and use Chandelure not because its powerful, but just because I like it. It looks awesome, and the Pokedex entries are awesome. It eats souls. Same reason I use Pokemon like Dunsparce, Stunfisk, Ninjask and Shedinja. Well, instead of powerful, they're a bit weaker.

And to be fair, I like the Vaniluxxe Family, and they're in a different league then Farfetch'd and Luvdisc. But hey, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

There are plenty of exploration ideas, and Gen. 5 has some of the most unique, an underwater city, ruined tower, and an FREAKING AWESOME ELECTRIC CAVE! Also, Snowy areas didn't exist till Gen. 4. Before that, we had weird Ice Caves. Same with sandy areas, except we got those one gen. earlier.

And I didn't say that Pokemon didn't need any story, but that they shouldn't concentrate on that as much. I mean, when you played Pokemon for the first time, you didn't play it for an epic story, you played it to collect Pokemon, trade and battle your friends, explore a vast region filled with secrets and, ultimately, be the very best, like no one ever was.

Aaaah I have to agree with you! I really like Banette and Shuppet just because of their Pokedex entries. I mean, Banette is really ugly but it's interesting enough to make up for that.

I hate ice caves.

Well, I never cared for the story before... because it was new. First time playing Pokemon...what's that? a secret organization devoted to stealing Pokemon?...but now it's getting ridiculous. I bet you already knew the Gen 5 storyline before it was revealed. (actually this one started out pretty good, but then they jumped into the team rocket wagon.)

I want the pokemon themselves to be fully rendered in 3D, not just their moves going in 3D. I don't want the little pixel art ones anymore. Colosseum style! (never had that game...)

Better storyline, no more new pokemon. I like the old ones better.

Better online. I can't explain it, but it just feels lackluster.

More exploration. Secret areas, not so confining spaces.

Longer storyline. Yeah, it's pretty deep as is, but I can't keep my hype up for a pokemon game a bit after I finish the main storyline.

More stuff to do after beating the story itself.

I've always wanted a fully 3D pokemon game. Kind of like what has become of the Zelda series. It would be a huuuuuuge world with tons of exploration to do. You could just see the pokemon randomly walking around instead them magically appearing when you walk into high grass.
I guess it would look somehat similar to this, except that it wouldn't be minecraft (duh) and the world would probably not be randomly generated (although that could be interesting as well I suppose)

You would still have to fight gyms, like in the main series (no shadow pokemons and all that cal from the gamecube games). I'd like it to be a bit morestory-driven than the games we had up to now, while still putting a huge focus on exploration.

Maybe there could even be a multiplayer mode or something where you can interact with a bunch of other trainers (mmorpg style)

But that won't happen of course 'cos it's nintendo. We all know that the next games will also be top down, like it's been for the past 15 years. And we also know that the story will still remain the same, also like it's been for the past 15 years. But I guess I can still dream!

I agree fully 3D with colosseum type battles. I want character customization that's not super basic (like more than shirt color skin color and hat). I don't want to see the Pok?mon in the grass, I like the surprise, but I would like to maybe see the grass shake so I could avoid un wanted battles. They should continue to add onto the story because Black and White was noticeably better than that of any prior game. It should have a robust online system because that's a strong point on the 3DS, see keep trade negotiations. SpotPass would be good for alerting players that there is a special event, which means we should get those like Japan instead of automatically getting the rare Pok?mon. StreetPass would maybe be good for maybe a "Pok?mon Trainer Club" where all the members are people the player has passed, or maybe the trainers will be sprinkled around a certain town and you talk to them to start battling. The Pok?dex should be like the app they released.
