I really hope the release date did be the 19th of March. (As it needs to be at least 2 months from announcing the release date) It only can be between the 19th and the 31th. Which out of those days the Saturdays and Sundays are: 19th, 20th, 26th, 27th. For EU I hope it will release on a saturday, therefore the 19th will be the best date I believe. hehe

Why you say? 18th is Squares Preview event so therefore KH3D (and versus XIII... what? can't hype over games not being released on a nintendo console?), next day the EU and NA conference then the day after is when BBS final mix releases for PSP with a secret movie at the end of the game relating to KH3D.

It seems to me some are counting the time for January 19th, MIDNIGHT, which is incorrect, as the press event starts at 9:00 EST, and also because midnight is a concept that changes depending where you are.
You have to count down to 9:00 EST, 3:00pm Amsterdam. This way, you'll be counting to the exact moment the event will begin, and also will be counting in a manner that is common to all, wherever you live. So... 6 days and 12 minutes to go! |

What I'm mostly looking forward to is the release date of the 3DS itself and Ocarina of Time. The rest... meh.
What sucks, though, is that since the 3DS will be region locked, I'll have to wait for the EU version of all games. I hate that. Seriously. What's worst is that the delay is mostly 'cause of the translations to german, french, spanish and italian. Seriously, everybody should just learn english instead, lol

Wow, I just can't wait for it. I wasn't really bothered for Nintendo World 2011, Nintendo Preview Event is what I've been waiting for!
What I expect: -Launch line up- North America/Canada + Europe -Nintendo 3DS trailer + information on the advertising campaign -Obviously price and release date. I'm thinking an early March release date. Those are things we will definitely get. Well, in my opinion, that is.

I'm seeing inconsistent countdowns posted in this thread. To clear things up, the events (New York and Amsterdam) are taking place at the same time: 9 a.m. US Eastern Standard Time and 3 p.m. Central European Time. Here are links to those times. Both are the same number of days, hours, minutes, and seconds away. So it doesn't matter which one you choose:

I can barely wait. I know it's just an announcement and that it will still be two months before I can get my hands on the console and a game or two, but I love following an event, especially if new details are to be revealed. Watched E3 online last year and was blown away as Nintendo revealed one awesome game after another, and whether or not we get a stream of this event on Wednesday, I'll be following every blog and tweet I can find.
