Is it good is it worth it. I mean I love video game pinball and the psp verison was good and if anybody got it tell me if nintendo power was telling the truth. Not much on this game but don't knock it for being a budget title or a pinball game some people like me like pinball games.

Added after 11 minutes:

nintendo power gave it a 7.0 so it is good and ranked better than pokemon rumble blast

finally got it, the 3d effect is amazingly well used, it really gives that real pinball machine feel to the game. The physics are spot on and the graphics beautifully represent the machines at least those are my first impressions.

gamestop; and Nintendo power liked it and if you like pinball it is a great historical pinball title and zen pinball is downloadable so the graphics won't be this good. it has beeen given a 7/10 by most of the people who have reviewed it. It is B game but if you like pinball it is a great pinball and the budget over hang doesn't mean shovelware. It isn't shovelware it is a good pinball sim.

Problem is this is ancient - I had it on PSP years ago. Good game, but limited tables.

Zen Pinball will be much better, as their tables are very inventive and designed especially for video games.

I agree. And Zen Pinball is supposed to be a download, right? Meaning it won't cost $40 to purchase. hahaha.

neat, I am trying to make my dad get a 3ds, (Y'know, so I can get more streetpasses) (lol) now I can tell him they have pac-man, galactica, and pinball.

This should perk him right up.

well as a downloadable title the graphics will be about ds level so they will be disappointing and I enjoy the historical value

Added after 3 Hours 1:

one more table to unlock and tons of more standard goals to do and zero wizard goals completed, also the challenge mode is great I am gradually getting better but some tables I am good at while others I am still learning. I am having fun and have some practicing to do.

The Pinball Hall of Fame for the 3DS is the reason I'm getting into the 3DS system. That's how much I like pinball. I've never played on any 3DS system before except for the other day when trying out the display model of the NEW 3DS system at my local GameStop.

Currently, I have Pinball Hall of Fame on Xbox 360 and Steam. Starting this Friday, I'll be playing it on the NEW 3DS XL! What pushed me to get the NEW 3DS is a review of the 3DS version of Pinball Hall of Fame I heard from the pinball podcast http://www.thepinballpodcast.com/

When I looked into the 3DS system, to my surprise Nintendo was about ready to launch a New 3DS in about two weeks time. I read about how much better the NEW 3DS is so heck, I just put in my order and placed another order for the 3DS version of Pinball Hall of Fame on Amazon and now I'm ready!

Since then, I've read the reviews stating how great the 3D is in this game and now especially how much easier and effortlessly it will be to continually view the 3D effect.

Pinball is great, the physics in this game is great and this forum is great!

Glad to see another person become interested in the 3DS. You chose a pretty good time to get into too with the N3DS coming out!

FYI, there is also a Marvel Pinball game available on the 3DS eShop that was well-received. There is even a free demo on the eShop for you to try it out.

Actually I'm quite familiar with Zen's Marvel Pinball. In fact, I have planed to purchase all of Zen's pinball titles too. It's different than Pinball Hall of Fame in the way the games are not from real life (where the games from Pinball Hall of Fame are recreations of real tables.) It's a different type of fun.

I love the real games and I do enjoy how Zen has made it possible to compete on line (in real time at least on the Xbox 360...don't know if that's possible on the 3DS also...)

With Pinball Hall of Fame, a person can compete, however only with their scores...not at the same time. The only time one can compete at the same time is when your next to the person your competing against, and then you have to hand off your game system to the other person when the game is set up for more than one person play.

Unfortunately, Crave does not plan to release any new titles for the Pinball Hall of Fame (even with the new 3DS coming out.) With the older system, there was an issue with frame rate. I figured the NEW 3DS could have solved that problem. Maybe so, but they still have no new plans for NEW 3DS pinball tables. So I consider myself lucky there are some cool tables available for 3DS play from Crave's Pinball Hall of Fame.

Would love to get this game but cannot seem to find it? It's not on the digital store or in the Gamestops. I guess I will have to go the EBAY route.

I spotted one at a local Walmart the other day. Both Walmart and Toys R Us tend to have a lot of older 3DS games (even those from launch year) still available, although you might have to dig through a bargain bin to find them.

I bought mine used from Amazon.

By the way, I think the best way to play this game is with the 3DS upside down. That way the ball play is on the bottom screen and the scoring is on top. The only thing to watch out for (if you have the 3D turned on) is to make sure the distance of the screen is no more than 14 to 16" away. Otherwise, it works fine when it's held upright, it's just the scoring in that position is on the bottom.
