Well japan is 9 hours ahead of the uk so by the time I get up on sat day one will probably be over,Lordy !!

I don't know the UK equivalent but at 10 a.m. and ends on 5 p.m. on the first two days and on the last day starts at 10 a.m. and ends at 4 p.m.

Nintendo expects me to wake up at 1AM? Ugh.

Why? We'll get the American/European release date and price but pretty much all other information that they announce on January 19th will probably be all the same stuff that they announce at Nintendo World. I fail to see why people think January 19th is a bigger deal. Japan will obviously get all the big announcements first and besides the release date and price there's nothing about the 3DS that they can really announce that will be completely English based. Nintendo World will probably have some major announcements about the online services or any other unknown features. January 19th, they'll just repeat the same things over again but in English.

us and europe launch titles will most likely be different than japanese launch titles so we will get the launch titles too i suppose

Yeah. They're not gonna give any information concerning the US and Europe at Nintendo World. That's why January 19th is so important.

Yeah but I expect a lot of the important announcements about the system itself like online features and things will be announced at Nintendo World. I'm more worried about the 3DS and it's features then the exact release date and price. We already know it will be March and the price will probably be about $250-$300.

The 11th? Lol. If you go on the internet then you'll have missed every thing. Nintendo World 2011 starts the 7th for you due to Japan's time zone.

This is correct all time are in Eastern Standard Time just translate mine into other times.
For example: If Some country is 6 hours after eastern time (i.e. Amsterdam I believe) it would be like;
Saturday 3 AM
Saturday 4:30 AM
Saturday 5:45 AM
Saturday 7:00 AM
It wouldn't even start on friday and you would have to be up really really early in the morning each day.

If Nintendo World 2011 starts on January 8th, 2011 at 10:00 AM in Japan then it will start around the following times here in the U.S:

Eastern = January 7th, 2011 at 8:00 PM
Central = January 7th, 2011 at 7:00 PM
Mountain = January 7th, 2011 at 6:00 PM
Pacific = January 7th, 2011 at 5:00 PM

The show is based in Tokyo, Japan. These times are based on the actual time in Tokyo and actual time in the U.S. The only way the times would be conflicting is if the show was not starting at 10:00 AM which in that case you just add or subtrct hours.

yes it starts at 8:00 PM (eastern) as in the event, however the actual USTREAM events start an hour after that. Unless if you are relying on random people's cellphone pics and videos it doesn't really start until the showings/events begin.
