The event on the January 19th has a list of playable titles. This got me thinking that maybe because they are playable they are more further ahead in development and therefore the launch titles. Or at least releasing close to the Nintendo 3DS launch.

But then I saw Super Monkey ball was not on this list but Super monkey ball has been confirmed a launch title.

What do you think?

I think, that these are just playable demos, and not the launch titles.

Yeah. The Resident Evil game that is only 20% complete has a playable demo. And I highly doubt it will be finished come March. So yeah, most likely these are not the launch titles. Good question though.

So I thought, I guess its just whoever wanted their game to be playable. I was hopeful they would be the launch games because that is a good lineup.

That would be an awesome launch lineup though. Now I to iz dissapointed.

Reggie said at e3 that their would be "ample game content" at the launch, so I don't think we'll be disappointed.

Kirby's Epic Yarn had a beautiful art style.
I love that game xD

and Epic Mickey doesn't relax me. It sucks me in and I can never stop playing. The only reason I haven't played it recently is because I'm too lazy to look up where clarabelle's flowers are.

Lol. Considering the only games that interest me as of now are Kid Icarus, MGS, LoZ OoT, and Kingdom Hearts, if Kid Icarus isn't a launch I may not have nothing to play come March.

If theres not Kid icarus, Ill just play Okamiden on the 3ds, its actually a ds game, but its gonna be released in the middle of march.

I'm 90% sure OoT will be a launch title. And KH wont come out for a while considering BbS was delayed like, 4 times.

HAHAHAHAH!!!! By the way, did you also know that Santa Claus isn't real? Lol.

I can definitely imagine Smash Bros coming to the 3DS. The developers couldn't resist making the dramatic KO's in 3D. A character hitting the screen or falling into the distance would be great on the 3DS, along with the busy backgrounds and multiple layered stages. Smash would be PERFECT for 3DS.

-Samurai Warriors:Chronicle (Confirmed to be a launch title)
-Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask (? -- Possible, but unlikely)

-Runabout for Nintendo 3DS (? Never heard of it)
-Cubic Ninja
-Fish On
-Madden NFL 11 (Confirmed to be a launch title)
-Gardens (Confirmed to be a launch title)
-Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D (While it's not confirmed, I think of this as a definite launch title)
-Kid Icarus: Uprising (Nintendo does need a 'headlining' game, sure we've got Ocarina of Time but that is just a remake, Kid Icarus: Uprising is completely new, and Sakurai's sole intent has always been for Kid Icarus: Uprising to make launch)

We can only hope that games like Zelda and Kid Icarus will be launch games.But when i think about it,maybe is better if the developers spend more time polishing the games,because i want to get the best game possible!But then i have trust in Masahiro Sakurai and Eiji Aonuma,they know what they do.

It actually might come out for the 3ds.Masahiro Sakurai(the developer of Smash Bros,also Kid Icarus)said that he really liked making games in 3d,and it will be hard for him to go back to 2d.So why not make the next smash bros in 3d?

I think the US launch list will be better than the Japan list, but not by much. I'm PRAYING that we get a huge title, such as Oot, that they release as a driving force to sell systems. Either way, the initial slew of games is looking weak.
