Your two favorite games you've ever played
The title says it all, name your two favorite games that you've ever played.
Mine are Metroid Prime 1, and Zelda Wind Waker. Challenging to pick only two, isn't it?

I don't really play favorites, my 'favorites' are usualy games I've played and enjoyed recently. So, OoT3D and SMG2.

Why not 3?
 1. Super Castlevania 4, my first game ever and surprisingly a good one. I remember that alot of games were crap. My friends always ran to my house and we had a contest of how long we would get without saving. 2. Half-Life. My first PC game. Oh yeah this game bombed me. My PC was crap but the graphic was amazing. Terrorists(i think), aliens, a big spider, this game made no sense but still one of my favs today. (3. Pokemon Gold/Silver. The one and only RPG i loved so much.)

Zelda
& Final fantasy XI <- Its a mmorpg. Played it since it was released for about 6-7 solid years. untill they raised the level gap which i didnt like at all. and they launched final fantasy XIV ( also a mmorpg ) But that is a total failure and waste of time and money. |

Hmm...
1) Pokemon Emerald: I would drop all other games still if this one had online play. 2) Mariokart Wii: it was my first wii game and the first console Mariokart experience I could actually play at my leisure 2a) Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess (only because I didn't play it before MK Wii and I havent beaten Skyward Sword yet) 2b) Metroid Prime Trilogy (it counts as one to me because it is all on one disc. 2c) Batman Arkham City/Asylum (would be top, but it's not Nintendo. Will pick up City as soon as it is released for Wii U though) ... there, that's 2 right? |

This game has, imo, the best soundtrack ever created in the video game industry's history. This game will be forever in my heart; one of the best platformer ever created. 2.2 Golden Sun: The Lost Age (GBA) > A tie. This is probably THE best RPG ever created (with the first game of course). This is so much fun : the exploration, the battles, items, etc makes this game a gem. One of the only games that pushes the GBA to its fullest. It's very hard to choose only 2 games. the Mario kart series (although in SNES mk, all characters sucked at turning, INCLUDING koopa and toad...) And the SSB series, ssb64 is fun to play over wi-fi (project64K emulator) ssbm was fun to play with my brothers, and ssbb was (maybe still is) fun to play over wi-fi and hack Giga Bowza and Wario-man. |

My favorite franchise is the Fire Emblem series, and it's a tough call as to whether I like Fire emblem, Radiant dawn, or Fire emblem, the blazing sword better.
but whichever of those two I pick, the second would probably be Super Smash Bros Brawl, and just barely behind that would be Kingdom hearts. So technically those are my favorite series, (FE, SSB, and KH in that order) couldn't pick just two. |

Pokemon Crystal - Nostalgia, played through at least 50 times. Zelda Oracle of Seasons/Ages - IMO the best handheld Zelda games, very amazing games if you haven't played yet. Yes, these came from Crapcom, BEFORE DLC! |

  These are the first games that I ever played from my two favorite game series, Harvest Moon and Pokemon! Animal Crossing was the first game I ever played on the DS and is indefinitely one of my favorites of all time for being one of the best simulators of all time. Although, my overall favorite video game of all time has to be Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town for being the longest lasting, most enjoyable game I have ever played that also left the best memories. I still love to play it to this day!

1.Resident Evil Remake on GC made me Fall out of chair 2.Pokemon Gold/Silver started my quest to obtain them all which ended well and so many more i probably have top 25 list Animal crossing, Pokemon played those games over1000 hours easily over all the games, Zelda all that stuff. I don't know... it's just too hard to only list two games.
I want to say The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword and Xenoblade Chronicles. They're my most recently played favorites, so they're fresh in my memory and they definitely made it into my top 10 games list. Then there's Paper Mario 64 and Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. I love them, they've been two of my favorites for years and I never grow bored of them. I also just started a new game on Paper Mario 64. :3 |

I hate these ones! Um... Probably SSBB and Pokemon Soulsilver, mainly because a.) I have this weird and annoying fear of Zelda bosses (Seriously, I'v beaten.... maybe five bosses in all the games we own! It's sad!) b.) I have Soulsilver sitting before me now and c.) Smash bros is just that awesome. I play it with friends all the time, and never tire of it!

Only two? Aw, shucks, there are at least a dozen of games that I consider to be my favorite. But, if I have to pick only two, I'd say:
The Curse of Monkey Island Final Fantasy IX 5 honorable mentions - Paper Mario, Broken Sword II, Final Fantasy VI, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Age of Mythology.

Good threads deserve to be bumped, especially since some of the newer members, like myself, haven't been able to discuss this topic yet.
Anyway, one of my favorite games of all time would have to be [U]Sonic Adventure 2 Battle[/I]. It was the first game I bought when I purchased my Gamecube and I spent hundreds of hours playing that game, espcially the Chao Garden. I also really enjoyed the original three Prince of Persia games, including The Sands of Time, Warrior Within, and The Two Thrones. The newer games are decent but I was never able to enjoy them as much as the original titles. |

I haven't really played anything that makes me love it so much as much as Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door... At least not yet. Plants vs. Zomibes and Mole Mania are really fun, though.

I posted here before, but I just bought Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3 and remembered that Wario Land 2 was one of the best GB games besides pokemon. I hope they release it on the E-shop someday.

Okay this is actually kinda hard, but I guess it would be...
1. Animal Crossing for the GameCube. I feel like the original has yet to be surpassed. 2. Pokemon Emerald; even though I don't play Pokemon Games anymore, this was my favorite of all time and sadly I no longer have a physical copy 'cause some dumbass I lent it to lost it years ago -____-

Wario Land 4 was one of my first GBA games. I would play it over, and over, and over, for months on end. You don't know how happy I was when I saw that it was going to be an Ambassador game. :D
Pokemon Ruby was my first Pokemon Game. I've spent countless hours exploring, trying to catch all the pokemon, making my own adventures, doing contests, the secret bases... *nostalgic sigh*

I didn't know too much about Pok?mon when I was younger. I had Pok?mon Silver and Pok?mon Yellow but I was too young to remember anything about those games.
Pok?mon Sapphire was my first Pok?mon game that I actually really got into. I've spent over 380 gameplay hours on that cartridge and caught every Pok?mon (that you could catch without trading) besides Febas and Nosepass, I could never find those two. Unfortunately, it died a while ago when it's battery dried out and could no longer store save data. |

(The first one may be replace in the coming 12ish months with the next handheld iteration, and Mass Effect 3 is sitting unopened on my desk, waiting for me to finish my current run-through of Mass Effect 2.)

I know the OT says two, but I can't choose between these games.
-Super Mario World -Super Mario Galaxy 2 -The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword -Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater -Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots So I guess that's my top five in no particular order, but if I had to pick one above all, it would have to be Super Mario World. I LOVE that game!
