So far, we all know that the Resident Evil series on the 3DS has the most good looking, most impressive graphics and awesome gameplay. We're glad to have the these two Resident Evil games to be at the stage shows.

Now, will these two games kill other 3DS games? In my opinion; yes and no.

Yes because of Resident Evil: Revelations, it's a brand new, original installment of the Resident Evil main series, taking place a year after RE4 and a year before RE5: Lost In Nightmare. After watching the direct-feed trailer back at E3, the trailer was so interesting, leaving us mystery to think what does the unknown man, being tight on the chair meant "And what would you do if you found it? It doesn't matter, because you already are...". And what did Chris has, which Jill asked, while both pointing the gun at each other? Promised by Capcom, this to be the scariest RE series "ever". Also, for both RE: Revelations, and RE: Mercenaries, Capcom has finally letting us players to move while aiming. As a RE hardcore fan, it's kinda a let down, but it's 2011, where players in video game move while aiming. d:

and now No because of Resident Evil: Mercenaries. Now don't get me wrong, I LOVE RE4 & RE5's Mercenaries, and what really excites me about the 3DS version is their main features, which are a lot of RE characters, all stages from RE4 and RE5, and brand new stages. Now I wanna know how the 3DS version will work, will it be like RE4 and RE5's system? In my opinion, it's going to have an arcade style; like "[Stage 1] - [Stage 2] - [Stage 3: Boss] and then move on to next level". RE: Mercenaries wouldn't really kill off other 3DS games because it's mostly just a "kind of" port from both RE4 & RE5's Mercenaries, but only with it's graphics will be what is very impressive on the 3DS, but we all know that RE: Revelations' has better graphics, but Metal Gear Solid 3D will be the second 3DS game to rock, while Kid Icarus is the third, and RE: Mercenaries is the forth.

So this is what I think about the Resident Evil series for the 3DS which will be at the stage show on the 9th January. Do you think RE: Revelations is the best 3DS survival horror game yet?

Seeing as how its only competition is Resident Evil: The Mercenaries, yes. I do think Resident Evil Revelations is the best 3DS survival horror game.

Mercenaries is an action game, not survival horror. Resident Evil took a serious turn with 4 and 5, which is what Mercenaries is based on.

Yup, Revelations is based more on the old games, like Nemesis. It just uses the infinitely better new Resi 4/5 gameplay engine. Mercenaries has me more excited though at the moment ^__^
