Lightbulb WarioLand VirtualBoy port to 3DS?

Who would love to see this happen raise their hand!

I for one would like to see Virtual Console titles for VirtualBoy. I never really got to experience Nintendo's first 3D console, and with the 3DS's 3D, Nintendo can actually try selling those undersold games they made back then and actually make some money from them.

Would you guys and gals and Buramus of the crowd buy VirtualBoy Virtual Console titles? If so, which one would spark your buying interest the most?

well the virtual-boys sucktitude and inaccessibility would make me want to play its 8 games, also even warioware payed tribute to it.

I would personally love to see the WarioLand for Virtual Boy in the Virtual Console selection, it is one of the better games on VirtualBoy.

I've said it before, yes please.

I actually have a VB and a handful of games including Warioland that I grabbed off eBay after the system died. However, it's a tremendous pain to use. VirtualBoy on Virtual Console, even just for the first-party Nintendo-made games, would be the most welcome shovelware ever.

Come on, Nintendo, this seems like a no-brainer. They're already in 3D.

What I would like to see is a full-color and better-sounding remake of Virtual Boy Wario Land (and maybe Teleroboxer) on the eShop as a 3DSWare.

One of the main problems with the VB was the red and black color scheme. It would be bad to leave it as it is on the 3DS, IMO.

I think the VB has 22 games not 8. I hope they bring 10 to the eShop like how they brang 10 GBA games (exclusive to 3DS ambasadors) and 10 NES games.

Personally, I'd like the color scheme. It has a retro feel to it like the green tones on the virtual console titles. I'd prefer their were an alternative to the red and black color scheme, but I'd still like to be able to use it.

I would love Virtual Boy titles on the Virtual Console. They should really consider this. I would buy them in a heartbeat.

I would love buy the Virtual Boy games on Virtual Console as well. I didnt even know about the Virtual Boy until Brawl. I'd want them in their original form, none of this remade stuff. I've only seen a Virtual Boy once in person at a retro gaming store, and it didnt even work. It was just there for display.

Nintendo has burned anything having to do with the virtual boy and acts like it never happened.

So does that mean downloading VirtualBoy ROMs is legal then? lol It's technically the only way to play them right now, since the hardware is almost impossible to buy, and the games are also pretty rare. Most VB emus support the Red/Cyan glasses to make the image 3D on the PC. It does work, I've played WarioLand, and would be more than happy to pay for a copy of it to play on real Nintendo hardware if they released it as a Virtual Console title.

Yes, I would. For the novelty factor I guess. I have no idea whether they were actually good games or not...

Ten years from now, we'll say the same thing about the Wii.

Oh come on, Buramu; the Virtual Boy sold less than a million units and had 22 games. The Wii has shipped 90 million units, making it far and away the most commercially successful home console of the generation.

I know, but still, if they marketed it right, like "Remember the first time we tried 3D and nobody liked it? Well I think we can all agree we got it right this time. Here's those games nobody played because the hardware sucked."

As for colorizing, that would be cool, but also more work, and they aren't doing it for the other virtual console Game Boy games, so I'll settle for an option to change the monochrome red to monochrome black and white.

Is that a Virtual Boy tab I see there on Brawl's Nintendo Chronicle, or is it just me?

How would they change the graphics exactly? The red wouldn't be the best idea.

Well searching Nintendo.com for "VirtualBoy" or "Virtual Boy" returns no results whatsoever. They may have very well burnt everything to do with the console.

UPDATE: Well I managed to find this via Google: http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/sys...lboy/index.jsp
UPDATE2: Looking at Nintendo's master game list, there is nothing listed under System for Virtual Boy: http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/gameslist/gamelist.jsp

Here's a cool 3D video gameplay of WarioLand shown on YouTube.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EFwkuljK5DM

If you have the NEW 3DS, it can be seen stereoscopically on the screen from the YouTube app.

Not really related.

Plus this thread is very old.
