A Perspective on Interest at the Show
This picture shows the wait times for each game. This will give you an insight on what games were focused on at the show and what people who attended were most excited to play.
I took this photo on January 8th roughly around 2pm. PS: Pictures and videos don't do the 3DS justice. So you were actually at the event? That's great man. But to get back on topic, it seems interest for OoT was really high. Maybe they all felt like David and were expecting to be blown away by it.

Depends on how big the "stands" where.
i heared that metal gear solid and resident evil "stands" where 2x bigger if not 3x bigger then oot one for example. Still oot = a massive hyped game. no wonder people wanna see it. |

I'm still pretty sure that the Zelda booth was the most popular.

SSFIV 3D, 30 minutes, but MGS is a bit surprising thought it would be more popular

Some of the lines to see games were on par with those of Disney. I'd say the 3DS is generating quite a bit of interest.
