I am 37. I started playing games when i was 16. In 2008 i bought a DS Lite and now sinds a year i have the 3DS.

I'll be 20 in June... hopefully that's close enough. I use my 3ds because I live in a dorm right now, so having larger systems can be a hassle. It's a great way to relieve stress from school.

I'm mid-30s. My wife wanted a nice necklace for Xmas but then wanted to get me something nice as well, and this is what I decided on. I love the 3D aspect of the 3DS. I think most of what I play, though, is just virtual console NES games that I had as a kid...

I'm 34, been playing games since the mid 80s. Yep, started with the ol' Atari 2600. Been a fan of Nintendo since the first NES. I only have a couple games for the 3DS at the moment, plus the ambassador games. I'll probably be playing games until I die. Can't wait to be a toothless 80 year old guy still playing Nintendo.

I'm 33, and was a huge PC gamer up until 4 years ago. I bought a DS for my wife as she liked the look of it. I was bored one day and started playing it (professor Layton game) and got so hooked I bought one myself. Then it was a natural progression to the 3ds. I love the 3ds as its great for a quick spurt of gaming, especially now that I don't have time for marathon gaming sessions.

I am 24 and I originally got my 3ds so that I could destroy my little brothers in pokemon and show them how someone who was obsessed with the original blue version lays it down :P but this little handheld captivated me, so now I take it everywhere to find street passes and I play it almost every day. I also like the retro games that they have in the eshop for sentimental value. As soon as the old music starts that I used to hear as a kid, Big Smiles

I'm 28 well in another day, it counts. Glad I'm not the oldest here. Although the other day while sitting in a waiting room, a 50+ year old man (dressed as a biker) pulled out his dsi XL... It made my day.
I carry my 3ds everywhere (need street passes) but get kinda embarrassed to bring it out... >.> I've been gaming forever, but didn't really get addicted til I met my husband 10 years ago, it's been a love affair since =) Oh, and I forth the motion, you do look young for your age (it's okay though!) You'll be glad when you're my age and still get carded!!!!

My boss at my English conversation school (in Yokkaichi, Japan) is 50 years old. She has a GBA, a DS Lite, and a DSi. In the 80s, her father (now dead, would probably be ~80 years old now) used to play Super Mario Bros. on her family's Famicom "as a way to keep his mind in shape." He eventually beat the game.

Vita is good but the only downside i see is the games! there are not much games available and the upcoming games are not even 15 games and of all of them the bests are little big planet and gravity rush... I guess if they come up with COD or battlefield or games like that that you can actually play online it will be a lot better

I don't dislike my vita..but right now it's just an expensive paper weight. *sigh* I am curious to see how cod may play on it though... >.>
I have LBP on the psp, and never beat it...it just wasnt nearly as good as the ps3..so I'm not going to get my hopes up just yet. But I agree with everyone else, by the time those games come out AC and HoR and who knows what else I'll crack out on will be out.. *sleeps next to 3ds* =P

I turn 23 on the 11th, and I take my 3DS almost everywhere. I also have no shame in playing it in public as an adult : ) I currently play Mario Kart 7 and Tales of the Abyss; patiently waiting for Mario Tennis Open.

I had to laugh when I read this title. I'm 24 and I freakin love my 3ds. I mostly play super mario 3d and kid icarus. I have oot as well (I managed to grab the zelda edition 3ds XD ) and I loved playing it on the 3ds.
I'm really excited to see what else they announce for the 3ds! |

I'm 21 in 9 months. Typically still play Pokemon, but on 3ds I play Zelda. I've sold my black one because I'm going to be getting a Flame Red and 2 new games: Super Mario 3D Land+ Mario Kart 7. Plan on getting: Kingdom Hearts, and Luigi Mansion 2! All great games

I'm 24 and female, common law with my boyfriend of almost three years. Graduated from high school, started college, but got on disability instead.
I have a blue 3DS and I have Harvest moon tale of two towns, pokemon rumble blast, Tetris party, bejeweled blast, dr.mario extreme, Harvest moon grand baazar, New Super mario bros pokemon: black, soulsilver, diamond, pearl, emerald, fire red and leaf green. Currently beating Super mario 3d land. Waiting for HM land of origins, Animal crossing, pokemon Black 2, and whatever interests me.

Im another one of the "I turn 20 soon!" dudes lol; but I am currently rotating four games in my system: Mario Kart7, Super Mario 3D, Pilotwings, and Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars. Though I must admit I've primarily played the first two over the past several months. (I am a launch-day owner, but I haven't started playing it again until recently because of lent and them the end of the semester and finals lol)

Anyways, believe it or not most of my 3DS friends are my age. In the twenties. Some of them are even married with children. The 3DS has a bigger audience than one might think.

Im 22 and im not embarrassed to admit that i have bought pokemon black and platinum the past 2 weeks :P
But for the most i love to replay all the good old classics like ocarina of time 3d and supermario ds Im also up to try new titles like kid icarus and heroes of ruin both are great games!(need to buy mario later cause gave it to my girlfriend when my first ds became unplayable cause of deffective touch)

22 here. Got a Fire Red 3DS (was planning to get the pink nintendogs bundled one to show how much of a macho man I am but it was out of stock, lol) and a couple of games with it (LoZ OOT, KIU, MK7, Spirit Camera, Theaterhythm, Rhythm Thief, etc.)
Glad to see that we have quite a good number of adult audience here.

Pok?mon Heart Gold and Pok?mon Soul Silver are both DS games, that will work on the 3DS and any older model of DS. Personally, I enjoyed Heart Gold a little more than Black, but they're both good Pok?mon games.

seeing that there are in fact a few adults that play this game with vigor I am having slight regrets about returning my copy .. maybe I should have given it a longer trial. It seemed too young for me so I was already doomed when I started.

I grew up with the original Mario Bros. in arcades so I have been playing video games for a long time now. I'm 38 and have not been playing games nearly as much as I used to but I still get obsessed with a new game once/twice a year.
Monster Hunter will be one of those...if it ever comes out in the US : / |

I'm 36 & have a Flame Red 3DS. I love it to bits & wouldn't want to be without it. I take it everywhere with me & have even named mine "The little 3DS that could" which is named after the childrens book "The Little Engine That Could" as shortly after release everyone was throwing hate towards the 3DS but the 3DS hung in there & now everyone loves it.

31 here, love my Purple 3DS. Take it around everywhere - Streetpass is way more vital than Vita's "Near" - so, Vita remains at home on my excursions to GameStop and such. Though, I never seem get many Streetpasses

@ 25 and a massive Resident evil fan, the 3ds was an essential purchase for me, i also luv the old gameboy games on the eshop as well as all the ambassador games, Ive always liked mario kart games too, these are the reasons i got mine, after buying it i got zelda oot and enjoyed it and i really enjoy streetpass feature

22 turning 23, had to recently buy another 3DS but got a used one from the Retail Store I work at because of my employee discount made it cheaper.
Other than that I have played a variety of games in the past but my collection now is kinda lacking. I will slowly build up a solid 3DS and DS collection. I take my 3DS with me all the time, right now playing Metal Gear and Street Fighter. |

28 male with a pink 3ds. Picked it because didn't want to mix up my 3ds with my nieces/nephews as they all have aqua blue, and Pink is awesome. Also korean/Japanese hostess bar girls like my pink 3ds. My friends think it's weird to bring a 3ds to a "mature" establishment but whatever. My 3ds gaming hours can vary, one week I would play couple hours straight per day. Another week I wouldn't even turn it on. Work, other stuff to do, etc can eat up time.
Never understood the 'too old' for nintendo thing. A video game is a video game, whether it's on sony/micro/nin or if it's E/T/M rated. I also don't limit my gaming because of it. I've played Rhythm Heaven and Dark Souls in the same day. I play games for entertainent, not to show how much of a "gamer" or "mature" I am.

20 years old and cant wait to get new super mario bros 2 and kingdom hearts dream drop distance!
And might pick up a 3ds xl if gamestop does a decent trade in offer... pretty excited oh and pre ordered pokemon white 2 today as well woot woot!But im mostly an xbox gamer love my astro a40 headphones (profile picture) but if im chilling on the couch downstairs i do enjoy some 3ds gaming. 21, and I got a 3DS because I don't have time to play a console with a TV so a portable gaming device (besides my iPhone) is a great option. I just keep it in my backpack and carry it around campus all day.

I'm 26. I use it for...pretty much everything... But I'm a gaming type, you know? I have the urge to try just about everything. I'm kind of collecting in order so I've been playing Bust-a-Move Universe and Steel Diver lately. Beyond that I sometimes take 3D pictures and I use Netflix on it when I don't want to be antisocial in my room with my xbox...but not so social that I actually want to talk to anyone. lol. I live with roomates and I'm still in college. That might change my demographic a bit as I know some people my age have more "grown up" lives. My sympathies.

Well, I am way over 20 at 41, wow, sounds weird when I even think it, I feel like I am still 20! Anyway, I go all the way back to the NES and played the crap out of that with my older brother, then the SNES. Graduated HS and got a job and a "life" and kinda got away from games for awhile and missed out on some really good games. A few years ago got a PS2 and got back into gaming, wanted to see what I had missed from Nintendo so picked up an N64 and some awesome games on the cheap, then a GameCube, GBA SP, then the DS. Got the MK Bundled Wii last year at Wally world for $125!!! Played the crap out of MKWii. Finally I was going to hold off on the 3DS for awhile as it's my m.o. to wait 'til systems are "outdated" then get them and alot of games on the cheap. I have a DS lite with a ton of games on the backlog, was reading up MK7 as I love MK games and my gf saw me reading about it and she got me a 3DS for Christmas last year. Only have 2 3DS games for it MK7 and SMB Land, recently downloaded Touch Battle Tanks which is awesome.
So to me these games are "ageless", you can be 8-80 and enjoy them, I am a big kid I suppose but I do enjoy playing video games, especially with my crew at the Fire Department where I work, we have stayed up 'til 3am so many nights playing Pac-Man VS and MK, and COD games it is ridiculous. It's like a frat house sometimes. I mostly play during the winter as I do alot of outside activities when it's warm out, but I have dusted off the 3DS in the last few days and started back at it. I still play games from all the Nintendo Systems, if the game is good usually it stands the test of time unless you are only interested in the latest graphics. Hmm, I don't think I've ever posted here. Anyways, I'm 20, not in school, but I'm joining the Marine Corps(already swore in, gonna leave for boot camp in either September or November). No GF or kids(that I know of >.>). My favorite 3DS games are Kingdom Hearts, Theatrythm, Tales of the Abyss, and Devil Survivor: Overclocked.

I'm not 20 until November but i feel i am more mature than most people my age to be honest.
Also, i had to trade in my 3DS a while back to make some quick cash (I Know :/)... But on September 17th i shall be treating myself to the 3DS XL and some games that i don't already own such as Kingdom hearts, NSMB2. I also study Computer Games Development at University and done 2 years at college, so i usually get the urge (and we were/are encouraged to) buy new systems, play new games, etc to keep up with latest trends. Anyway, hey :P |

I'm 39 and I've always been playing games. I bought mine in january this year. My original plan was to buy an xbox 360 or PS3 but ended up with the 3DS.
Had no idea that an XL was to be released so soon though. I guess I'll stick to my Zelda-edition until the price drops? I mainly use it to play Tekken Prime, haven't cared much about street pass and such but recently I discovered I had met a Mii and got really into it. I'm gonna carry around my 3DS alot more from now on.

I turn 32 in October and always had a Nintendo handheld. Playing gameboy as a kid during long car rides in the back seat, to playing Gba on the subway on my way to my first few jobs, playing ds in my college years and now 3ds on my lunch breaks at work. Probably will own a Nintendo handheld as long as I live, hopefully they will still be making them when im old and retired lol.

I turn 20 this weekend. I mostly use it for the apps. I don't have an Ipod cuz i am too cheap I only have the basics as far as games: OOT, Mario Kart, Kid Icarus. I don't use mine as much as I'd like to. That's partly cuz of school and because not many people I know have one and those that do don't play much. I think that if I had more people to play it with/against I would use it all the time though.
I think most people that have it are college students who barely use them. The rest would probably be ten year old girls judging by the games available. Added after 2 minutes: What exactly is Pushmo. 35 here and I have a ton of games and carry it in my pocket every day for coins and StreetPasses. I love the apps too like Mii Plaza, Swap Note, 3DS Sound, the 3D camera/recorder, web browser, AR, pretty much everything it offers.
I took it to PAX a couple weeks ago and there were tons of 3DSs being used by people of all ages. My girlfriend and I both got hundreds of StreetPasses. Sadly, I only saw two or three PSVitas over the whole PAX weekend. |

have always loved Nintendo ever since I got the most awesome console ever made the Super Nintendo back in 95. I went away from nintendo after the n64 and got a PSX omg! Then XBOX, PS2, Xbox 360, PS3 all sold as I just didn't play them but my 3DS XL & Original 3DS have caught me to the point I have just preordered a black wii-u. Hopefully some GBA & Snes titles get released for the 3DS on the EShop soon. 35 oldest one here so far. I play Super Mario 3D land, old DS games, RE: revelations, PES 2011, and burger time (gameboy). Played all the ambassador games, many times, had most of them on the GBA though when they originally came out. Looking forward to Castlevania 3DS, Luigi's mansion (if it ever comes out), and monster hunter 3DS if it ever comes to North America. Next game I am going to buy is New Super Mario Bros. 2, and heroes of ruin (maybe).

I'm 25, just bought my 3DS last week. As much as I would like to spend more time with the device, its currently resting on its box. Will have to save up for Super Mario 3D Land so i can pick it up this November.

Being 28 and absolutely hooked to Pokemon and Kid Icarus just seems soooo .... RIGHT!
Nintendo games are great at all ages. Anyone that says that games / Nintendo are just for kids are hopelessly clueless. People around my age grew up with Snes / Mega Drive / Atari and we still love the games we grew up playing and want to play the new modern remakes. |

31 here, I own the OG 3DS and 3DS XL. I am a real Nintendo fan, especially Zelda games draw me the most, though Mario games are always fun.
I have to say that Nintendo games are fun for all ages, though even I get the feeling at times I am a weirdo for liking Nintendo games. I went to a gaming event here in the Netherlands second weekend of October (called Firstlook) and brought my 3DS for the streetpasses and felt a bit looked at. Maybe it was in my head, but (even though I shouldn't have) felt that people thought that I was a bit weird with my 3DS. I think a big scope of the gaming community, falsely, brands Nintendo as a children's brand. |

I am 30 and just got my 3DS a few weeks ago. I have been having a blast with Mario Kart and Resident Evil Revelations and LoZ OoT 3D. But the reason I got the 3ds was I saw the new pokemon X & Y trailer and instantly had to get back into nintendo. I had a ds 2 years ago but had traded it and all games in for a 360. So pokemon is my weakness.

I'm 28 and I recently got my 3DS. I've been a Nintendo fan since I was about two or three. My mom brought me up on NES and we've gotten every console released after that.
I've always been drawn to RPGs the most, although I often like getting the regular Mario-esque type games as well. I like trying out any games I can get my hands on. That goes for just about every system, both regular sized console and handheld.

Exactly 20 here, grew up strictly a Nintendo fan until the Wii, where I moved on to all the other consoles. Still have a soft spot in my heart for Nintendo, as much as they've disappointed me.
My sole reason for getting a 3DS was because it was the newest Nintendo portable. The GB, GBA and DS were amazing, so despite the lacking launch line-up, I couldn't help but take the jump.

I'm mid 20s. I usually have it on me where ever i go, usually with Pokemon Black 2 in it. I usually play it before and during my lunch at work. The games i play on it atm are Fire Emblem, Theatrhythm, and Professor Layton. Though i commonly find myself on Colors 3D as well.

I am 32 and so is wife, picked up a red 3ds xl for myself and a purple 3ds for my wife back in September of 2012. Wife loves playing Style Savvy Trendsetters and I have been playing lots of KI:Uprising, Super Mario 3D Land, and Splinter Cell lately. I like many genres of games and we have about 20 titles thus far.

I'm 24, And have been a Ninty fan all my life too. Snes & Nes are two consoles i grew up playing, and whilst there were megadrive etc being released it was always a no brainer for me: Nintendo! I got a 3DS because i had an original DS, and love playing Zelda, Metroid, Mario, MK, amongst other brilliant games.

Another 24-year-old here. I just got my 3DS XL during the last week of February; it's red just like my Gameboy that I got when I was like 7.
I mainly play games on Steam/PC so this is the first handheld that I've bought in a while.I'm looking forward to New Leaf, but right now I've got Style Savvy: Trendsetters and Rhythm Thief. Swapnotes is probably my favorite "game" right now though, haha. I should get Colors! 3D or Art Academy since I like drawing on the 3DS so much. I plan on getting Fire Emblem: Awakening and/or Etrian Odyssey 4 at some point this month... or maybe next month since I decided to buy some protective and decorative stuff for my XL. |

24, I have a Cosmo Black 3DS. I'm a Professor Layton fanatic, I also enjoy Scribblenauts, Phoenix Wright, Lego Games, Pokemon, and hidden object games. I have a pretty decent sized collection of DS games 30+ and 6 3DS game cartridges right now (still building it up since I just got my 3DS this xmas). I love the eShop too, easily over $100 in games there.

25 years here,I used to have PS Vita and now I got my first nintendo 3DS XL Blue like 2-3 weeks ago. I'm not sony fan nor Nintendo fan , but I'm a big handheld gaming systems fan ^-^ .
on my 3DS, I have now: RE revelations (love it) Fire Emblem A (love it) Mario 3D land (I have this game for my little sister she love it) Zelda OOT (I play this game with my little sister whenever I have free time to spend with my lil sister) Heroes of ruin (love it) Harvest moon a tale of 2 towns (I don't like farming games but for some reason I wanted to try this game lol) and I think I will get code of princess (I don't like side scrolling games other than Sonic, but my friend told me to try out Code of princess) SD games: yugioh 5D 2011 or whatever it's called lol (I'm not yugi fan but I like all the trading card games and board games like Monoploy it's my favorit game of all times ^-^) and I have Phantasy star zero. I know the topic say 3DS users but I will post my other system too, hope nobody mind <3 . On my PS Vita I have now : Gravity rush Disgaea 3 Persona 4 Golden Metal gear games COD (Alot of people said this game is bad, but for me it was good to play) soul sacrifice Mortal kombat (I used to play this game since I was 10 years old LOL) Atelier totori plus Little big planet (I bought this game for my lil sister ^-^) Dungeon hunter alliance. Ah my twenties, but that was several years back. I have had my 3ds for several weeks it was given to me as a gift. I have been messing with all the functions such as swapnote which i have already exchanged notes with some people on this forum. Also i have started bringing it with me when i am out of the house and its fun to see who you can tag with street pass and see where other people are from.
