3DS Users Over 20

I was just wondering how many 3DS users there are that are over 20, and what do you guys usually use yours for and how often. Im 27 and I have had my 3DS for almost a year and I just bought my first game this past weekend, I plan to start using it more.

I'll be 25 in about an hour, and I love my 3ds. Games Ive played on it:OoT, starfox, SM3DL, and MK7 (all great games). Also can't wait for RE revelations and kid icarus to come out.

I'm 32, I play heaps of games (MK7,Pilot Wings, SM3DL, Pullblox, Freaky Forms, FE), check facebook and these forums (when I can't access my computer because the rest of my household is asleep), it's my main camera (my actual camera died awhile ago and I haven't bothered replacing it yet), love swapnote and streetpass (nice way to "talk" to my husband when we just don't get much time together), don't use the music player much. I use it every day, for at least 1/2 an hour.

22, I currently mostly play Need for Speed: The Run, Mario Kart 7, Resident Evil: The Mercenaries, Super Mario 3D Land, Samurai Warriors Chronicles, and Nascar Unleashed.

I have too much to play to give more time to the GBA games at the moment but I intend on playing them more, some of them are real gems.

I'm also looking forward to playing Mutant Mudds soon, I think that will be my first 3DSWare, although I've played Super Mario Land 2, Gargoyle's Quest, Earthworm Jim and Need for Speed Nitro from the Virtual Console/DSiWare.

I'm 20, I have only been playing MK7 lately on my 3DS but I plan to get back to Mercs and SSFIV3D sometime in the future; I'm pretty busy with my PC gaming though.

I'm 20. Will be 21 at the end of the month. I play Mario Kart 7, Resident Evil: Mercs, Oot 3D, and Nintendogs + Cats frequently. I'm a huge fan of StreetPass and the StreetPass Plaza too. As you can see from my sig.

But yeah, i guess you can say i play pretty often. Had my 3DS since launch!

I'm 24. New to the forums, too. Just got my 3ds for my birthday last month. Returned to school last year to get my bachelors in biology and Japanese. I live with my fiance who is a musician and a butcher. I work at a natural foods store selling vitamins, herbs, body care products and whatnot. Life is good. Lately I've been playing super casually; Nintendogs, Pushmo, Dr. Mario, etc.

I'm 20 and I'm a fan of nintendo games.The consol that desapoint me was the wii but I think the 3ds has a bright future and the future games got my attention.My next game will be resident evil : revelation . I buy consolea for their games and not for their differents fonctionality . One things : nintendo have to remove the fc system and put one that look like the sony or microsoft and please the chat of mario kart is lame as hell, it will be more cooll to write is own comment or simply use the vocal fonction of the 3ds.

Have only had the 3ds since christmas (but ambassador'd just the same...on a zelda unit). I love the unique game experiences. You likely won't find me playing MK7(hated the last 4) but I love me some SwapNote!

I'm 29 and got my Aqua 3DS on launch. However, when the Pink Nintendogs bundle came out, I picked it up and gave my launch one to my son (we now battle each other in MK7). I play it everyday for about 2 hours playing Picross 3D (late, I know). I have a lot of the other games but I LOVE Picross, and I love my 3ds. I also have a Wii but for some reason I'm more of a handheld person than a console person.
I have a BA in Criminology, engaged, and I'm currently a sentencing specialist with the Dept of Corrections.

21. I tend to play a range of games; SM3DL, MK7, OoT, Pullblox/Pushmo, I have Ridge Racer but don't play it, and I'll soon own Resident Evil. So I pretty much stick to gaming on it, I've never even opened the browser for example, and my phone will do any other things I need.

Hmm, well I am a mum in my forties... so way over 20 !

I have had a ds lite, a DSi XL (still play on that) and a 3ds since launch.

I love rpgs, playing Tales of the Abyss and also playing MK7.

I also love pokemon, and will die with happiness when animal crossing 3ds comes out:-)

I'm 34, my husband and I have been married for 10 years. We play 3DS daily. Our two boys each have their own as well, Streetpass a plenty here

We like to go to the mall on the weekend and find new puzzles, so far we have 12. Just looking for 2 more afaik.

The kids each have Pokemon rumble blast, MK7. and they share lego Pirates of the Caribbean 3D. My youngest (almost 6) has decided that Pushmo is his new favorite so I'll have to get him his own so I can play mine again.

Im 24, working for the olympics. Ive had my 3DS since just before the price drop, play it mostly on the tube to and from work. Ive been really digging Pushmo and Mario 3D Land, and beat Metroid this morning on the way to work (it is HARD), now ive got Return Of Samus lined up for the journey home. I use it for the internet a lot, but play probably every day, my girlfriend told my I was addicted yesterday haha!

I'm 28, had a 3DS since early June. I might not use it every day, but at least 10-15 hours a week, especially with some of the new games in the last few months. My wife also uses it, but not as often. (I'm sure that will change when AC comes out)

I'm 46 and totally addicted to all my DS consoles since the DSi came out. My 3DS goes everywhere with me. I often can only play in short burst of time between working, so I play a lot of puzzle game that are easy to pick up and play. When I do get time, I'm usually drawing on the Art Academy app ( DSi Artwork by VATalbot on deviantART ). Lately I've been playing Mario Kart and Pullblox, and spending lots of time on Letter Box.

First off, this is my first post on this forum.

To the point, I am 22 and I got my 3DS about a month ago. I play a lot of mariokart 7, pushmo, ocarina of time, and just picked up starfox 64 3d. Though I game with it the system a lot, I do really enjoy the streetpass feature; being on a college campus for class 5 days a week makes it pretty fun, lots of other people with the 3DS.

I'm 27 and I got my 3DS on release day. I play Mario Kart, some eShop games (Mighty Switch Force, VVVVVV, Shantae, etc...), Pushmo, FreakyForms, StarFox... lots of other games. I also like to watch Netflix in bed and venture into the world hoping for StreetPass hits.

My boyfriend is 32 and he loves StreetPass, Mario Kart and most often (like right this second) plays Tetris Axis (he's ranked 16th in the world in marathon mode). He has some eShop games he loves too.

36 here and happily taken. The staples I play are Super Mario Bros, Pushmo and I got Nintendogs (shut it, I got it for 5 bucks and got addicted to it lol). I also like the videos on the vid channel. Between the Ambassador games, the Street Pass games and the 3D camera, its been a hit and used.

StreetPass has me keep this thing on me at all times. I just keep it in my pocket or send it with others to take trips to the mall for the passes lol. Which reminds me of a funny story. Everyone I know and hang out with knows I keep it on me and why I do. Sure they pick on me sooo what, Im a geek I get it lol.... anyhow, so we go to eat about 2 weeks ago. There are about 6 of us and the 1 day I left my 3DS at home. A mom and dad and their 2 kids all had 3DS' at the table next to ours and were playing them before they ate. My parter saw them and said oh boy... the one day you forget it huh. Want me to get their number for you? You guys can have 3DS partys! lol.. it was funny. Note to self: Never leave home without it! lol

Im 24. As for now, I mostly use swap note. Kinda tired of DoA, ST and MK7. And I dont wanna play SM3DL, cuz when I finish it, its done. And its really short. Occasionally play OoT, but havent gotten any further than just getting the Master Sword.

I got mine for my 24th birthday, my 25th birthday is 5 months away now and I just got my first game for it. I used a wal-mart gift card to buy Mario Kart 7 and before that I would use it for faceraiders and the ar card games, and find mii. I play mine everyday but until now it has mostly been to play ds games using my acekard. I am downloading the RE demo now so I have that to play too.

Im 26 and got my 3ds not long after it came out and got my Ambassador badge too . I bought a 3DS to play Legend of Zelda OoT for the millionth time on a new system . 3DS came with Res Evil Mercenarys but iv hardly played it , Zelda has not left my DS's card slot for months to be honest . i also own zen Pinball and had StarFox but lost it a few days later

Im 20 and i only got 1 game for my 3ds, OoT 3d. im trying to get a multiplayer game like mario kart 7. seems like everyone on this site has it already.

I am nearing my twenty-first year, and purchased a 3DS shortly after it launched. Currently, I am using to play games, mainly Ace Combat: Assault Horizon Legacies, but also the occasional Mario Kart game. I do not have a whole lot of time to be gaming right now, unfortunately, because of university. But come April, I will be back to regularly playing my favourite portable gaming system.

36. I bought the 3DS day one and there were people older than me in line before Gamestop opened that day. One even heckled the worker about them having to work and us going home to play games all day.

I play MK7, Pushmo, VVVVVV, Ambassador games, and just started on the new Zelda cart I got. Traded the old one to Gamestop to save on the Zelda bundle. Gave my wife a pink 3ds for Christmas and she likes playing Nintendogs. I always turn hers on when I want a street pass hit. Looking forward to Kid Icarus, MGS3D, and Mario Tennis. If only MT was like the GBA game. Loved that one. Also, I'll be pre-ordering KI: Uprising to get the free 3D Classic Kid Icarus code. Just stinks that I have to wait till 3/23 to get it.

These are the games I've grown up with and that I continue to enjoy playing. I know a lot of gamers of different ages, well into their 50s at the top level.

I am currently 23. I am a gamer of many different tastes, and enjoy platformers as my favorite genre. I currently play Mario Kart 7 when homework doesn't have me tied down, and am hoping to pick up Mario 3D Land to get my 3D action game fix. (for some reason, I've been having a renewed interest in Mario platformers. Don't know why. Haven't felt this way in a long while).

I'm also anticipating Kid Icarus since I heard and seen good things from it, as well as, trying to find time to complete Minish Cap from my Ambassador lineup

(I'm hoping to make it yet another Zelda adventure I beaten after completing my first Zelda quest with Ocarina 3D.

But I haven't written any really good programs in it yet (one of my New Year's resolutions is to do that). Puchikon is 800 yen from the Nintendo DSiWare store in Japan.

I've never felt that any Nintendo system was geared toward children, it just sucks that they tend to get a "childish" reputation because of their family friendly business stance. I've always felt that if you dismiss a game, like the awesome Pushmo for example, because it looks like a kiddie game at first glance, you might miss out on something great!

I'm going on 39 and love my 3DS. I cant seem to leave it alone. Mario 3D is a total blast, Zelda Ocarina of time is really enjoyable as well as the games i have for it.

While the rumors are unconfirmed on the net I'm anxiously waiting for Monster Hunter 3g. Im a longtime glutton for painful long hours of punishment playing that series. Anyone that has any experience knows what im talking about about, spend 15 minutes getting your turds in a row for a proper flushing and what happens? Youve gone and equipped the -WRONG- freakin weapon attribute for the monster youre hunting at the current moment. If you've ever played monsterhunter youve done this at least once.

I turned 24 about a month ago and I love my 3DS. I too was wondering how popular it is amongst this age group as well. I got it for all the Big N games (Mario, Zelda, etc.) and then other games that are suppose to be good too. It is just a joyful experience to sit down and unwind with it. I also carry it around to try to get StreetPass hits. How many, over the age of 20, carry theirs around? I am wondering if most of the StreetPass hits I get are from little kids or not, haha.

I mean, yes, they DO have a family friendly stance but I think it's more so the fact that most of Nintendo's games are squishy and cartoony. There haven't been many games with mature artwork or storylines (although Ghirahim was pretty freaking creepy in Skyward Sword).

I'm 30 and I take my 3DS with me any chance I get. I get a barrage of Streetpasses in NYC. I play with the 3DS in parks and such. I grew up a gamer, I'll grow old as one

I'm 32 and I always have my 3DS with me. I beat Zelda already, and got to the hardest parts of Ridge Racer and got all the stuff in Nintendogs. Back in the day I would go on Street Fighter and do some Saikyo Trolling, but the truth is that I'm not very good at fighters.

Currently I play mostly VVVVVV, Pushmo and the ambassador Fire Emblem. Occasionally I play GameBoy tetris, Yoshi! and Ballon Fight.

I own MK7 and Mario3D but it's mostly my wife who plays those.

I'm 23 and I use mine to take photos, ocasional audio/video record, and, of course, MK7 and SSFIV. I love the fact that the games are so portable and since I barely have time to play anything, I can play 15 minutes and put it to sleep for later.

I'm 24 and own a 3DS, being older means I have more disposable income to chuck onto games, I never had the chance to buy lots and lots of SNES games when I was 8

I'm 21... I used a Ds lite before but I didn't have many games for it... too many were just too kiddy... but I've seen a lot of good games for the 3ds coming up in the near future so i bought one

I'll be 20 in May, and I have no intent of slowing down my usage or number of new game purchases. I have no hesitation carrying it with me everywhere or pre-ordering every game I look forward to or putting a big chunk of change into the eShop. and I'll be the same way with the Wii U when it comes to investing money in it, which I will spend the majority of my excess money on by the end of the year.

I took up gaming as a kid instead of sports or music or art or bug collecting or cooking, and that will be my life-long hobby that nothing and nobody can turn me away from.

I'm 24, and I use my 3DS for...playing awesome video games! lol I was going to use it as toilet paper, but the presence of a stylus made me a little uncomfortable. :P

Anyway, yeah--this is my first handheld (technically--I sort of inherited my uncle's GameBoy back in the day). I hadn't bought previous ones because there weren't enough games I was interested in...and I figured I'd probably break/lose it. These days, I'm quite a bit more responsible with my belongings (That's what happens when you start paying for your own things when you grow up. lol), and I saw there were all sorts of great games coming out. Didn't hurt that the day I impulse-bought it, I had just found out it was the last day to register for the Ambassador Program. So, I went for it! I couldn't be more pleased with it! In a way, I'm kind of glad I waited to buy it. There apparently weren't too many decent games at launch. Also, I got it at a nice hefty discount. So, yay!

I'm 23. Bought mine back in August, I think. The week before the price drop, so I could bring my receipt back to best buy and get the price difference within 7 days, and still have the ambassador status. (Score!) Yea, that was a big reason I got it then.

I haven't used mine in a month or two, but I'm actually downloading the demos now and gonna try them out and put some time into mario 3dl and mk7.

I have only recently got my 3ds but I am mainly playing PullBlox (I think it's called Pushmo elsewhere). I also am playing Resident Evil Revelations, so it is unfair for me to say what I mainly use mine for yet.

I'm 26 an dtotally love my 3ds. It may even possibly be my favourite possession! I play it most days and play a mixture of games including MK7, SMB, DOA...and am debating whether or not to buy lego HP or resident evil since I couldnt play more than half of my PSP silent hill as I got too afraid in the nightmare scenes LOL. Also I use the webbrowser quite a bit and LOVE swapnote (letterbox)!

I'm 20 and i LOVE my 3DS, i grew up playing on the NES and the original GameBoy and Nintendo has been a part of my life ever since!

I am 21 (almost 22) and I play on my 3DS every day. I grew up on various handhelds and consoles (I still have a working original Gameboy) and grew up on mostly Nintendo consoles. I think that the 3DS is for everyone, not just kids!

I'm 21 and I play on my 3DS everyday aswell I grew up on the NES ( or SNES ) my dad introduced me into games since I was about 3 or so, since then I've owned Mega Drive, saga Saturn, gameboy colour, dream cast, play station, game boy advanced, xbox, xbox 360, game cube, wii , computer NDS etc. And played on the other systems I didn't own and still believe Nintendo are the best, and people may laugh but that doesn't matter, because it's about the game play and how much fun you have ( ^_^ )

I'm 30 yrs old, my first home console was an atari 2600, then i had a commodore 64, then i got NES, then SNES and Genesis with Sega CD, then a PS1, then a Phillips 3D-i, then a dreamcast, then a gamecube and ps2, now I have a PS3, Wii, and I game a lot on PCs....

as far as hand held consoles, I used to have some of nintendo's game watch games (if those count), then I got the first gen gameboy, then a gamegear, then a gameboy advanced, then a DS, then a DS Lite, now I got a 3Ds....when it comes to handheld games, I don't think anyone touches nintendo....

the games I currently have on my 3DS are Zelda OoT, Starfox 64, Mario Land, Super Street Fighter 4, Pilot Wings Resort, and Steel Diver....

I've already posted here but i'll post again. I'm 21 and I love 3DS. Grew up with the Gameboy Color and have bought every handheld since. I like a wide variety of games, from Mario and Zelda to Resident Evil.. even Animal Crossing, Harvest Moon and Nintedogs.

Lastly i'm going to college to become a secondary English Teacher!

I'm 35 and I feel much better knowing that I'm not the only "old" guy that plays 3DS.
I just bought the 3DS about a week ago and bought my first 3DS game(Super Mario 3D Land) yesterday and I like it so far. I'm thinking about getting the Kid Icarus when it comes out but not 100% sure yet...(I think I might...maybe...possibly... get it...or not...)
