Default Will Mario Tennis Open have "Gimmic Courses"?

In Mario Tennis for the Gamecube there were several courses that had various hazards. For example in Luigi's Mansion, there were ghosts attacking you, and in the Blooper stage, if the ball hit a platform, it would retract.

Have these been confirmed for MTO?

I haven't played Mario tennis since the n64, but I hope they do. That bowser stage was legit.

Is Mario Tennis any fun or worth paying 40 dollars for? I've never played one in my entire life =/

The n64 one was really fun. It was one of those, "hey this game is actually better than you might think" games.

Well there's still a possibility that we'll get these stage hazards in the game. I'd say it is a possibility this time around.

...I just wish that Toad would be confirmed as a playable character. I miss him in the MT series.

Why not? Nintendo has been known to make fun stages with gimmicks for sports games.
