Default VR Question

I am tired of everyone always choosing Maka Wuhu so they can cheat. I have a question: if I quit the race before it starts (4 others choose Maka Wuhu), would I still lose VR?

I do not believe you would, no.
EDIT: I may be mistaken though.

They aren't cheating. They pick that course because you suck at it. If I was racing you, I would pick it every single time. The only way I would stop picking it is if you beat me, or at least came close to it. I almost never pick Maka Wuhu against good players because I might lose. There are many better courses for me to pick.

Rage quitting just because someone picked a course you suck at is not the best way to get better. Do you ever see a good player complaining about Maka Wuhu? It's only a problem for scrubs.

If you want to beat someone in any kind of competition and they had a major glaring weakness, you'd be a fool not to take advantage of it. Stop falsely accusing others of cheating, and actually work on improving yourself. If you have a big weakness and it bothers you, how about you actually put forth some effort and improve yourself?

Solve your problems. Don't run away from them.

Okay, I realise I was looking at this the wrong way and I am sorry. This topic does not need to remain open.

Congratulations on being open minded. Keep up this way of thinking and you should quickly become very good at Mario Kart 7.

I was worried my post would upset you, especially since I sounded a bit angry. I'm glad everything worked out. I don't think you suck anymore.

If you want, we can race together sometime. Take care~

A lot of people DO pick it purely to cheat... well, exploit the glitch for better words, hoping the other racers/most racers wont know about it. A lot of the time (from my experience online), the people who are selecting it don't even win it since pretty much EVERYONE by now is aware of the glitch.

Even if I keep winning it over and over, I'll still quit if it keeps getting selected because it's just so annoying and boring to have the same course spammed. So just because someone quits, it doesn't necessarily mean they suck at it. A lot of people, including myself, find it annoying and boring to have to race on the same course after it was just selected.

As for your question, Wario! I don't think you lose VR if you quit before the race has started, but you will if the race is in motion. I could be wrong, but I haven't noticed a loss of VR after quitting before a race has started. Besides, when you do lose VR, I think you only lose like, 3 points at the most anyway. It's nothing major.

You dont lose VR if you quit, and people try to take advantage of other who dont know the glitch. If Maka Wuhu is chosen you can do 1 of 2 things: 1. Quit 2. Use the glitch. I usually quit.

If you don't press anything for a while, the game'll automatically disconnect you, without any losses on your Streetpass info, nor VR loss. Let's just hope you don't use this to Γαфε. (rage)

My, how honorable of you. I've been playing the game all wrong this whole time by trying to win. Silly me.

It's not like the point of the game is to try to win a race or anything. What, do people think this is a racing game or something? It's about being nice, by driving slow on purpose. Too bad Nintendo designed their game wrong. Super Mario Boy, you should send Nintendo a letter, explaining how they messed up by rewarding players for winning. Let me know how that goes. Thanks.
