I feel that i'm being really stagnant with my styles and what i draw.. Wish there were ways i could improve Advice?

one question about colors 3D: does it have layers or do you draw/paint on one layer?

it has layers, and you can move them so 1 layer can be above another

if youve used photoshop, its like that, but only 5 preset layers to draw on

good enough for me. I just can't draw on single layers anymore. how are the brushes? XD

you can change the opacity and the size of both the brush and the rubber
and you get 3 different brush types; basic hard edged brush, soft edged brush, and a pencil sketch kind of brush (that one is harder to describe)

and you can choose all sorts of colours and shades within that colour choice

Thanks! I'm glad someone remembered me. XD Unfortunately I won't be regularly returning here because I'm going to BT (Basic Training) tomorrow. I could be gone for another 2-4 months. But I'll gladly start posting on the forums again once all that's done.

New colors! painting/illustration. Some original characters of mine in sort of a romantic scene. The female (Gheena) is on the image above as well and the male's name is Raseph. BTW if anyone wants to follow me on colors!, just look up @Akaraah-3d in the tag search. If you look at it on the app itself like most of my works, there's a 3D effect, of course.

Since I intend to work on a comic part-time I've been making a lot of work dedicated to specific characters to improve the art/consistency (more variant scenes and lighting, etc). I feel that since the "Great Swamp Skink" piece, my digital painting skills have gotten a lot better considering my first foray.

BTW, the city is supposed to be sort of futuristic/cyber punk-ish.
