I'm not going to really complain. We got a $250 price point for North America. Which I was expecting. And it comes out in March. The last possible sunday in march, but march (which I also expected). Was anybody else disappointed that we didn't get any new SOLID info? Sure, some old rumors were confirmed (friend codes, etc.) but other than that it was a recap of old recycled info and no new surprises, other than that we won't be getting a web browser, video recording etc. from the start. You're supposed to throw us off with good news, Nintendo.

I'm still insanely excited for the 3DS. I just hope it doesn't disappoint as much as January 19, 2011 did.

P.S.- Can anybody confirm or de-confirm (with a source) that RE: Mercenaries will be a launch title? If so, I will be very happy. But something tells me that It's too good to be true.

That's the source I saw before, which is where I heard the rumor in the first place. Is this a legitimate site? If so, why hasn't Nintendo officially posted the same info anywhere?

Also, I feel for you in Europe. But hey, at least that extra hundred gets you the system a few days early.

Actually, I was disappointed at first, but I'm kinda glad we didn't get our official launch titles and other solid info. I mean, today's news will be old by the middle of next wk...and it would get boring and them giving out solid info over time until the release will keep us occupied and us busy.

I'm happy about the price at $250, but March 27th was a lot later than I thought it would be coming out in America, that's more than a month later than Japan will be receiving the 3DS. I thought a mid March release date would have been more reasonable for everywhere else in the world.

I'm sorry to dissapoint you more but Mercs won't be a launch title. Here: GoNintendo - Official PR - Capcom Unveils Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition (launch title), Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D It says that Mercs will be available in the summer. And this site is as legitimate as they come.

I'm happy with the price point and all, but yeah I'm a little disappointed with the presentation. I was expecting something a little better, and they made it seem like we were in store for some major surprises....but everything was pretty much a repeat of the Japanese press conference from back in September.

disappointed esp. when john ross was twitting about big surprises then all we really got was Samus Aran in DoA Dimensions. Plus on the sept. 29th event publishers annouced some games in a hour, but for us it's a 6 hour event that could have been posted on nintendo's website in like 30 mins. and we dont see anything new.

Yup me too. But i've seen some games worth buying, so I don't worry. I feel neutral. There are some positive and negative points. 2 months will fly by people.

I'm very dissapointed, I'm going to lose alot of money this year.
I have to book a extra week off work just to sink more time into the 3DS because its just that good.
I'm going to have to spend more money on pizza and beer because nothing says "brain melt" like a Philly Cheese Steak Pizza and Beer combined with 3D.

I'm very disappointed.

im disapointed at the launch day games make me want to cry... I guess i will be playing black version on my 3ds... well give me time to save money for super monkey ball kid icarus and mario kart..

According to gamestop mercenaries will be released on july 5 2011
but no one knows for sure when it will be released

I wish there was a good RPG being released around with the 3DS release because I'm only buying Super Street Fighter 4 and that isn't going to hold me down for very long and if I got an RPG that I like I could spend a lot of time in that.
