Red face hello *waves shyly*

Hi everyone . My name's Ryan, I'm 23 years old, and I am diagnosed with both Attention Deficit Disorder and Asperger's Syndrome (Mild Autism?).

I don't currently own a Nintendo 3DS at the moment (or a DS/DSi, Wii, GameCube, GB/GBA, etc), but I should be getting one as a present from my mom this Christmas.

I mainly want a 3DS so I can play Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance (3DS), but there are other games that have been catching my interest as of late (the newest Zelda game, the two Kingdom Hearts games for the DS, etc).

Anyways, I hope to make alot of friends and have fun here , feel free to ask me anything about me that comes to mind .

Welcome to the forums, Ryan! I hope you enjoy the time you spend here, I'm sure you'll meet plenty of friendly members. I've been around the forums quite a bit before I was able to pick up my 3DS, so you definitely aren't the early-member! I have to say, I'm loving my 3DS and I certainly hope you get yours soon.

Yeah, Christmastime is the best time to ask for expensive gifts like a 3DS, lol.

Well, I'm certainly keeping my fingers crossed. I haven't even gave my mom my Christmas 2012 Wish list yet, way too early for that haha xD.

(I'll probably give it to her a week or so before Black Friday in November)

My parents were never big on Black Friday when I was younger so that would've never worked for me, but I can understand how'd that make sense if your parents were into shopping on Black Friday. Regardless, good luck with getting it, sooner rather than later.

I'm also pretty excited about getting Kingdom Hearts 3D, only a few days left 'til it's release. But my most anticipated 3DS game so far would have to be Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon.

My mom isn't that big on Black Friday either, but sometimes I'm able to reason with her or make a "deal" lol.

Worst case scenario, I have to wait until like the first or second week of Christmas before she wants my Wish List, no biggie.

Oh, I'm a big time Kingdom Hearts fan, I've played Kingdom Hearts (PS2), Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories (PS2), Kingdom Hearts II (PS2), and Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep (PSP). I've never beaten Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories (PS2) though, I always suck at the stupid card battles.

(I'm currently stuck fighting against Ursula I think lol)

Btw, it's just me and her, I have no father or siblings (only child).

My mother passed away when I was a very young child, so I too was an only child with my father as my only parent. I'm 18 now and I still live with him for the time being (I plan on moving in about two years or so) and he has found a girlfriend now, so I'm happy for him. Me and him are really close.

As for Kingdom Hearts, I enjoyed the original Chain of Memories for Gameboy Advance but I never played the PS2 version. I never got to play Birth by Sleep (since I had gotten rid of my PSP by the time it was released) but I enjoyed KH and KH2 out of all the Kingdom Hearts games I've played.

I also played 258/2 Days (DS) and I enjoyed it, but not nearly as much as the originals. But I do have to say that I really liked the inventory organization in that game.

Oh, you misunderstand, I have never had a father, at all. I mean, biologically speaking, yes I do have a father, but my mom and him never got married or even dated. I don't know him at all, except for what my mom remembers of him when she met him.

I've never played the original Chain of Memories before, I don't have a GBA, and the PS2 remake is better anyways. Birth by Sleep is wicked awesome, you should definitely try to play it one of these days. Yeah I agree, KH and KH2 are awesome.

The name of the game is 358/2 Days, not 258/2 Days :P. I've played a little bit of it thanks to my friend's DS and copy of it, it was alright but challenging, I stopped playing around the time Organization XIII split up.

even though you don't have a 3DS currently there are still plenty of discussions you can take part in .. learn about the games you have an interest in.

Welcome to the definitive place for 3DS owners
