James Bond Die Another Day, although I don't believe Halle Berry was the right actress for the character of Jinx, it was still an impressive and action-packed movie!

The Dark Knight Rises and it was decent but expected more Batman and not as much Bruce Wayne. Not what I expected for the last installment of this run.

The Dark Knight Rises. I thought it was great. The second was better, but this one was good.

Most movies should stand alone, but sometimes that isn't possible based on the writer's vision. The Lord of the Rings for example. If you view these three movies as one story, it's actually pretty brilliant.

The Amazing Spiderman. I thought it was way better than the original. I'm glad in this one he made the web shooters like in the comics. It always bothered me how in the original 3, that the webs shot out of his wrist. Andrew Garfield was a great Peter Parker.

The dark knight rises. In the end it looked like it was going to have a continiuation!I hope that batman ends and Batman and robin starts !

The new batman movie was freaking amazing, and the pint of gin I snuck into my mountain dew didn't hurt either.

If this includes TV shows, then that would be Avatar: The Last Airbender. I think the last movie I saw was Rush Hour 3 (it was hillarious).

True. I had to read what the costume designer on the film had to say as well as someone else but I don't remember who. But I think even without looking at the small details, the film worked the same whether he was dreaming or not. I don't think it changed the message of the film, and that's why I think Nolan was telling people it's up to their interpretations, but it is true that there is only one answer that is meant to be correct even if it doesn't matter.

I didn't think it would be, but someone else paid for my ticket, which is why I recommend everyone stay as far away from this movie as you can. If someone offers you a ticket, don't take it. If you see someone buying a ticket, recommend a different movie for them. If you see someone being given a ticket, pretend to know them and get them out of the awful situation they're about to be pulled into

The Campaign, it wasnt as funny as I thought is was going to be. Its an OK movie and better seen when out on disc.

I just finished watching Indie Game: The Movie right now. I've aready seen documentaries on big game companies, and I wanted to see more about independent games. I'm going to be a video game dev at some point, and I'd like to develop independently as well.

So yeah, we pretty much witness the journey of three indie developpers/teams. The ones behind Braid, Super Meat Boy and Fez. It was interesting to see all three of them, but don't expect a making-of for each game. It's more about their own lives, events and emotions than their games, even if they talk about them, obviously.

I liked that movie.

Well, if the DBZ Abridged Movie doesn't count, then it would have to be the Bourne Lethargy.

Because it's a crap movie, which has only one highlight: All the Filipinos in that movie sound like my mum, no joke.

Just got back from ParaNorman. Great movie with lots of action, jokes, and a surprising amount of heart. I still like Coraline a little better, however.

Saw IV. I watched 1-4 at a friends house during a sleepover in dark. I'm impressed, I would it be overly focused on Jigsaw's games with boring characters and story, but it's actually awesome! Now I'm wondering why it took me so long.

I watched Expendables 2 today. It was very good, but wasnt as good as the first ONE IMO. Although all the "homages" to the old movies of the actors was cool.

Thanks to magical means, I watched the Ace Attorney live action film yesterday. It was actually pretty incredible - wasn't as bad as I expected it to be.
The characterizations for some characters were rather weak (Gumshoe and Edgeworth specifically), but when they got it right, the portrayals were absolutely perfect, like my man Larry.
In terms of plot, they actually managed to fit most of the first game into a little over two hours. They obviously had to change some things, but I actually think the changes made the story more understandable, especially to non-AA fans. In particular they went into more detail about a certain character's backstory, making it all the more tragic - a nice touch, really.

To any AA fans here, watch the movie the first chance you get! Or you will be found guilty.

I love the part where he buys a really expensive stamp, and then uses it to mail something. The whole part about not being able to "own" anything... it would be very hard.

Bought it a week ago on Blu-Ray. I love it so much, Its one of my favorite films and the sequel to the book, catching fire, is my favorite book of all time. I'll probably watch it again tonight.....

Went and saw the Expendables 2 last night. Actually liked it a bit more than I liked the first one.

Saw some previews for a movie called "End of Watch", about the Los Angeles Police Department, that looks really awesome. Can't wait for that one to come out.

I re-watched the Human Centipede and now, tonight, I'm going to re-watch Insidious. Man, I love horror movies. They're the best kind of movies to me! The Human Centipede rocked, even though it was... A pretty disgusting idea for a movie.

Finally went and saw End Of Watch. I was a bit disappointed, but I can't tell you why because of spoilers. It was actually a really good movie, but there was one thing that bothered me. I recommend it if you don't get your hopes too high. It's a good cop show. I want to see "Red Dawn" next. Looks pretty good. Going to watch "The Chronicle" tonight though.

I ended up re-watching 2012 I like that movie, but I don't believe in 2012. But if it really does happen, then watch the guys laughing on that day in the morning be like, "The world isn't gonna end!" And then they all die. What fun!

Finally got around to watching Cabin in the Woods. Really refreshing twist on the horror genre, just wish the plot itself had a bit more meaning. The end was a little disappointing in my opinion.

I actually haven't seen Amazing Spider-Man yet. Looks alot better then the Raimi trilogy so i'll have to give it a watch sometime.

2 is still my favorite, but ASM is very good. The characters are much more genuine and dynamic, they feel and react to situations instead of doling out what seem like prepared speeches. Obviously I'm speaking mostly about May and Ben, but it extends to Pete and the supporting cast too. The way everyone talks in Spider-Man (2002) drives me up the wall. "Aunt May!Aunt May! Is that an angel?" Give me a ****ing break.

i watched lord of the rings: two towers in german in german class today, it was surprisingly fitting, and the dubbing wasnt too bad either

I just watched the Hunger Games for the first time. I liked it for the most part, though i haven't read the books.

Last movie I watched was the Bourne Legacy.

Which was funny, only because every Filipino in that movie sounded like my mum.

I watched Resident Evil Retribution with my friends two weeks ago. The three of us watched the movie without any high expectations to avoid any major disappointment.

Just saw Hotel Transylvania. Actaully, not that bad of a movie, entertaining and fun with all the monster references, plus you'd expect at least SOMETHING decent from Genndy Tartakovsky, creator of Dexter's Laboratory, Samurai Jack, and Sym-Biotic Titan, as well as a writer for The Powerpuff Girls. Being his first theatrical-released movie, I was kind of worried how it would turn out, and while I admit, I won't blame anyone for not being immediately enthralled, I still think it's it's an entertaining movie with a sweet story about a father and his daughter...

And the father happens to be Dracula... Played by... Adam Sandler... Well, actually, Adam Sandler's Dracula is very good, quite convincing, in my humble opinion. His character is also sympathetic, yeah, most dads are overprotective of their daughters, but here you GET why he's so paranoid about the human world and WHY he wants to keep her safe. It's like Finding Nemo (which, incidentally, the 3D version was also playing in the theater my mom and I went to), only here it's more about Dracula keeping one big secret from both his daughter and everybody in Hotel Transylvania.

The animations style, I'll admit, I have mixed feelings about. I don't think it's bad, per se, but it definitely gives off that "zany" vibe you get from non-Pixar/Dreamworks movies like Ice Age, Despicable Me, or those Dr. Suess adaptations. That said, I can still see Genndy's style in terms of pyshical comedy and character movement through the CG, and while I do kind of like it, I get the feeling it might have been better if it was traditionally animated... Ironically, the beginning of the credits IS traditionally animated, with all the major characters drawn in Genndy's trademark style! I DID notice, though, that they move a lot slower in comparison to their CG counterparts... not that it matters, since it was only for the credits. Still, I loved it, and I actually applauded when Genndy's name came up (my mom stopped me because I was the only one in the theater to do so).

Some other highlights I'd like to mention are the Twilight reference, Uncle Frank (hard to say what I like about him, I just have a thing for big, friendly guys), and Quasimodo. I found that every scene with him was hilarious to some degree, even though I found it weird that he was considered a monster, even though he's technically a deformed human... But then again, he was supposed to have DIED in The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and besides, they even gave him a French accent, that's not usually something you see in depictions of him... or the depictions I've seen at least.

I don't want to oversell it, though, this movie is, at most, just a good movie and not much beyond that. Hard to say anything about the other characters other than they're okay and they get a good laugh every once in a while, since the focus is more on Dracula, Mavis, and Jonathan. Still, since this is October, and if you're looking for a good, fun movie with monsters in it, check it out.
