Just started painting a couple of months ago and only just completed these 2 paintings....

Medium used was Acrylic.

Up until August of this year I had never painted anything in my life. I come from an arty family but was always considered the artless one.

These were my 3rd and fourth attempts at putting a paintbrush onto canvas.

Paint is cheap these days as are canvas boards, give it a shot....

Oh yeh and there are tons of clips online to help you get started.

These are awesome. How long did it take you to make them?

They each took me about 16 hours to complete.....

Not sure how long they would take a real artist though? be nice to know..

Ive done some others....though Im not sure this forum is appropriate for it? I have a gears of war one which looks great but doesnt come up so good in photos. I think its the glossy finish that cause reflections on my camera.

Anyways I've since posted the painting of gears..Appologies if I offend any Nintendo hardcorers...

Im gonna need a luigi to accompany mario.

Maybe Toon Link? To me it would fit the same style as the Mario and Pit.

Toon Link is a good one to do....just had a look at some pics and he would be good along side mario and co....

If anyone has a request? Id like to consider it and possibly make a painting next week of the one I like most.
