What you're hearing up there is a mashup between the Green Hill Zone theme from Sonic The Hedgehog and the Super Mario Bros. theme song.

Sounds good, right? Anyway. What I'm about to do is accept requests!

Tell me two video game songs you'd want to hear mashed up together, and I'll do the rest! Any platforms, any generations, any genres, any games! However, please make sure your mashup idea follows these two rules:

• Make sure at most only one of them has lyrics. Vocal samples don't count as lyrics.
• Make sure the time signature of both is the same! I don't want to deal with a song that has a time signature of 3/4 and one with 4/4. It makes the process long and difficult, and it's making the others wait. If you're not sure about time signatures, just post the request, and I'll tell you if they work together.

Expect me to do at least one of these things to the two songs you've chosen:

• I will speed up or slow down at least one of the two songs, to make it fit with the other. I might also change the tempo of both songs.
• I might change the pitch of at least one song.
• I will probably not use the full version of both songs.
• I will probably arrange parts of any song, to make it fit with the other.
• I might add a fade-in and/or a fade-out effect, to the beginning or the end of the mashup.
• I might use my FL Studio's Parametric EQ to make sound changes to one song or both.

Once I'm done with the mashup, I will give you a link to download the MP3. No mashup will be available for streaming online, except the demo up there, unless you really won't be able to download your mashup. I don't want to overload my SoundCloud and YouTube accounts with these things, and I'm keeping the things between this community and I.

However, if you are an audiophile, you might want a different audio file (see what I did there?). I'll be aiming for the lossless CD quality version of each song you're requesting. If I can't find it, I'll use the best-sounding version. You'll be able to request the AAC, OGG, FLAC, Apple Lossless (ALAC) and/or WAV versions of the mashups you've requested, as well as the default 320 kbps MP3.
