Okay before I even start this damn thing, I know a lot of you have heard the scores from big time reviewers for "Tank! Tank! Tank!". Yeah I realize that they are bad. And I realize and IGN review is enough for you to either say "Yay" or "Nay." But many of you have yet to play this game. A review is just a way of sharing your opinions (yes im using that cop out) so that people can see different people's points. So before you start throwing hate at me just remember that.
Okay now that that's outta the way.....
A SNAIL REVIEW ON:
TANK! TANK! TANK!
Alright. Lemme start off by saying that I, for one, absolutely love the TTT arcade game. A game where you pilot your own tank around a city with completely overdramaticised weapons destroying infrastructure and monsters as you please. This is Tank! Tank! Tank!.
I have spent countless amounts of quarters on this machine in my local arcade so when I heard it was coming to the Wii U, I was sold. Yes I guess this makes me a little biased but I got the game, popped it into my U, and started playing to my heart's content.
I have now beaten the main story and unlocked every tank. So I guess you could say its time for a review?
Alright:
Pros:
The gameplay is fun and challenging.
The graphics are pleasing to the eye and the colors look brilliant on the U
Follows the arcade game very closely
Multiplayer is a lot of fun for the family
Anybody can pick it up and play
Cons:
The game does get repetitive after a while
Sometimes your challenges for a mission are difficult and sometimes ridiculously hard
The tanks are hard to control and are a bit floaty
Lack of online multiplayer
Could have been a downloadable game for half the price
Okay so the TL;DR Version of this is: The game is very fun and worth your time but wait on a price drop, because one is coming. The multiplayer is awesome if you have family that likes to play or if you have friends over a lot. And if you liked TTT in the arcades then you have to do yourself a favor and buy it when it drops.
I give the game a
7/10
