ill explain, i bought a wiiu with my first pay from working in GAME (uk Game retailer) as a temp. only to find out i wasn't getting paid again till after christmas, i had to buy gifts. :/ so i had to sell my WII U (ZombiU Edition) and to be honest im not really wanting a another one anytime soon event though i have enough to treat myself to one. i think i may wait a few years if im honest (or at least till theres a zelda)

Personally, I thought the wii sucked overall. I say it's better to wait and see if the wii u has decent games made for it before investing in one.

Also I had to sell my 3ds to make rent a while ago so I know that feel bro. But now I have a sexy 3ds xl so it's all good.

I love it! The internet browser is so much faster than my laptop. I spend most of my time on the miiverse and I like that I don't need my TV on to play the games.

It takes a strong person to sell one of their own electronics to buy gifts for other people, especially after only having it for less than a week! I couldn't call you a bad person after doing something so generous, because I'm sure I probably wouldn't be able to do it!

I'm definitely interested in having a Wii U, but I'll probably wait another year or so before finally deciding to buy one. I actually missed out on having a Wii so there will be a ton of games that I'll be needing to catch up on some day!

@Mr, Damm right you missed out. I recommend Zelda: TP, Zelda: SS, SSBB, Mario Kart Wii, Resident evil 4: Wii edition and Mario Party 8. All incredibly fun.

Mario Party 8? I hope you meant 9, because 8 was possibly the worst of all of them.

I'm still not sure of what I think about Mario Party 9: the minigames are funnier than those on Mario Party 8, which is a huge plus, but the fact that it's impossible to play a Mario Party Marathon, unlike in the previous entries of the series, is a huge letdown.

@Tetsuro I think the OP will eventually buy a WiiU, just not right now. He's just waiting for some titles to convince him.

Nah, you sold it for a more important reason. Heck, even if you sold it just because it didn't end impressing you like you thought, you'd be fine. You also barely lost anything which is a plus.

It's also alright that your not interested in another, I regret buying one so soon. It's always a good idea to wait at least a year or more for better prices and to see the situation of the system.

Better for the consumer in short-term. But if everyone waited to see it get better, it'd be bad for the console. So; I don't think it is always a good idea.

I have one and my worry is third party support. I'm satisfied though and think I will easily get my money's worth. I just want Nintendo to stop relying solely on past franchises and start some new ones. Sooner or later Mario, Zelda etc will stop selling as well as they have been and when that happens unless Nintendo create's new ips is they are buggered.

Well unless you spent hundreds of dollars on downloads from Nintendo, nah you're alright. But they proved that a good condition used Wii U could actually have more value than a brand new one. It turns out that it's not linked to any account (like the 3DS) and that whoever bought it can get your stuff for free from Nintendo cus it's linked to the Wii U itself.

You're not a bad person I think it was a very kind thing to do. Personally I didn't buy the Wii U 'cause I'm going to wait until a Zelda comes out, and I'm pretty sure the console is going to be cheaper. So its ok

Its the same with every new console ive ever owned, though some arent as bad as others (wii launching with excite truck AND zelda helped a lot for me), and i doubt that will change any time soon.



People shouldnt buy consoles at launch if they arent prepared for the launch drout.



As for wii u, if you never owned a 360 or ps3, its an AMAZING launch with tons of awesome meaty games. But.... if you DID, youve already played most all those awesome games months ago.

I didnt get my wii u until after christmas. Could have waited longer actually, though i have gotten rather fond if its non gaming functionality. Very fond actually.

If you had to sell it to get things for others, I admit that is pretty dang nice, but until your must have game(s) come out, you can lay off for a while.
