I think it's just a coincidence. Many other comics have people being thrown out of windows (like Dilbert). It's nothing more than that.

This was a SuperBowl commercial, the guy said "Maybe we shouldn't have beer at every conference," and was thrown out the window.

It could just be coincidental that it is alike.
I mean it is pretty difficult nowadays to create something completely original without the idea being used, mimicked, or built upon.
