So I was wondering what a Dreamcast might look like in a handheld version and I came up with this. I don't know its some random thinking from me. A Dreamcast portable? What goes through my mind, right?

Definitely a random thought, but it looks pretty neat to me.... As a sucker for handhelds I would buy it. Now, can you go make one?

Thanks. I know people do this, turn consoles into portables, and yes its been done with the Dreamcast. Mine will be way better tho.

For me this will be a long term project. I've already started experimenting with some hardware.

That's the plan. I did something like it with a Super Nintendo a few years back. Hopefully this doesn't die out like many of my projects do due to my lazyness.

The best DC Portable I've seen is the Dreamtrooper.



It uses the Lazer Doodle case, a PS One screen, etc. Well, good luck with your mod. It's going to be quite tough especially if you really want to make it from scratch.
