I honestly have quite a few unpopular opinions. I like to make my own opinions about things rather then just going with whatever the popular opinion is, and i don't dislike things just because they're popular either.
I honestly don't think Super Mario Galaxy 2 is really that amazing of a game. Don't get me wrong it's not terrible by any means, but i didn't think it was anything that special. |

3DLand is terrible
Twilight Princess is not that great. TDKR is superior to TDK Metroid Prime 2 is the best in the series That's all I can think of right now. Oh, and I dunno, I kinda think Hitler might have been a bad dude. Just thinking out loud here...

I thought the Hobbit was a great movie and almost topped the first entry in the LotR movies.

I don't like Adventure Time. It's one of the most stupidest shows I've seen.
I think New Super Mario Bros. 2 is way better than Super Mario 3D Land. Majora's Mask and Wind Waker are my least favorite 3D Zeldas. (I still do like them, I just enjoyed the others way more) Not sure if this is an unpopular opinion or not... I think Coke Zero tastes way better than regular Coke.

Day-to-day use of makeup is far too excessive.
More developers should be like Ninja Theory, Irrational, Game Republic, and Spicy Horse. The "gameplay first" mentality just results in repackaged, derivative sequels. If they instead focus on creating interesting settings, characters, narratives, and improve their story-telling, sequels would be more welcomed than they are. Also, Ninja Theory's Enslaved and Heavenly Sword are much better than Uncharted and God of War. Games need to be shorter - there's too much fluff and most aren't interesting enough for me to finish them. 10 hours should be the limit for the main campaign of most games with multiplayer modes, optional areas, side-missions, different builds, routes, NG+ etc. to add replay value. 6 hours should be the limit for action games. Kid Icarus Uprising and the console GoW games aren't long but they have 5 hours of boring filler. Quote:

Gravity falls is really the only show I like anymore
I prefer minish cap over most of the other 2D zelda's (Except for the oracle's and aLttp, since I haven't played those) I think the gamecube had some of the best games of all time I enjoy 3D entries in franchises more than 2D entries (Zelda, mario, metroid, sonic, etc) I actually kind of enjoy minecraft.

1. Wind Waker is meh 2. I actually liked KI:U controls 3. I thought Sticker Star was a fine game Not the best PM but a good game. 4. Although I don't admit it often, I actually do think the Vita has potential 5. I feel that right now is the high point for video games. Everything from here on out is going to be downhill from here.

I pretty much got hooked to the game, it's harder than Earthbound, and has text you can understand and read without being bored of it.

I think that the best Legendary Pokemon come from Generation IV.
I mean, all of the other Generations have amazing Legendaries, but Generation IV is the only one where every Legendary is awesome. Shaymin has even become my favorite (and my first event-Pokemon). |

- I am probably the person to say I really like Myst on the 3ds
- I am disapointed that the 3ds does not have a second built in circle pad - I think revelations is hundred times better then Kid Icarus (yes I've played both) - we need more gameboy games on the eshop - I also disliked super mario land 3d, new super mario bros 2 was awesome - i hate that there is still no first person shooter on the 3ds Quote:

I dont regard The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time as the best Zelda game. It ranks very low in the hierarchy for me.
I havent enjoyed Halo since the original, and after getting Anniversary Edition, I dont really care for the first one anymore either. Super Mario Galaxy and Galaxy 2 are severely overrated and are not the best 3D Mario games. I also LOVE Zelda 2 and Castlevania 2. Zelda 2 is my favorite Zelda game. The PS Vita is a great system, just not worth it. |

Wind Waker and Twilight Princess are uninspired boring games. Mario 3 is overrated. 3D Land is one of the worst main handheld mario games. Zelda 2 is really fun. I love CoD compared to most other people on this forum Metroid Prime sucks.I hate its HUD and controls. Mario Kart 64 controls horribly. 2001:Space Oddysey is a bland movie. Metallica is overrated. I don't hate capcom,they're just doing their bussiness. Gameplay over everything else is bull****. Graphics doesn't matter is bull****. I hate Bayonetta. I don't like AC/DC. GTA 4 was bad and boring.A story based sandbox game just doesn't work with that kind of a design. Starfox Assault was AWESOME. I think the 3D Sonics are better than the old 2D ones. On that note, I think Sonic games are bad in general. I think Steve Jobs is a buttface and Apple products are dumb. But since I'm a graphic design major I'm pretty much forced to use a Mac and I hate it. I firmly believe that social media and smartphone technology, although good ideas in theory, is rotting our society from any kind of originality or character. I think capital punishment should be a national thing. Just a waste of taxpayer money to keep life-long convicted criminals alive. The Walking Dead is the Halo or CoD of TV Dramas. I thought Skyward Sword was the worst console Zelda. I absolutely hate the Big Bang Theory. Oh, wow. They're nerds. We get it. Professional athletes are paid a ridiculous amount of money pretty much to flaunt their egos, not to play a sport. Cosplayers are a strange, strange sub-human group of individuals... 1. I'm actually pretty damn good looking 2. Macs (recent macbooks line in particular) are very badly designed. Awful keyboard, awful heat management, that super relfective screen...ew. The only good thing about them is the trackpad 3. Global warming is a myth 4. OLEDs are overrated (never liked them) 5. Tablets are stupid. Wacom tablet not included, of course 6. Nutella is not tasty 7. Serie A is still better than EPL and Liga Espa?a

I have a lot of unpopular opinions. I am not a very normal person, and I have a lot of warped opinions. Most are based on the aspects of religion and politics, so I won't get into those.
One unpopular opinion I can talk about is related to sports. I don't know if anyone here is into them. I believe that Tom Brady is not a great quarterback. I also believe that Peyton Manning is a better quarterback. My reasons for this are simple, and I go to one example that I enjoy using. One stat. When Tom Brady went down, his team went 10-6 with a backup (Matt Cassel) who fell off the planet when he left. Cassel is not a good QB but carried that team to a 10-6 record. When Manning went down, his team had the worst record in the League at 2-14. That shows who is more valuable. Manning never played on a great team, Brady has a lot of pieces around him. I don't dislike Brady, I just think he is overrated. Super Bowls don't mean everything. I don't really have any unpopular opinions about Nintendo. I never could get into Zelda, but that isn't a big deal. I had another one I was open to sharing, but I can't remember it. Oh, just remembered. I think Android is better than Apple, but I love both and both have pros and cons.

I liked the John Carter film mainly because of the concept that if there aren't seas, airships will be created quicker. I don't respect modern day soldiers. I love American stereotypes, but I hate English ones (Except for Tea drinking, I will give you that one) Games with Gore should have an option to remove the gore. College is a ripoff. I'm going to be $40,000 in debt when I graduate next year, and I've barely learned a thing after 3 years. GE courses are a waste of time (they haven't taught me anything that elementary and high school haven't) and despite my major being "in high demand", it never taught me how to do anything worth a damn for a company or a financial firm. So, if I don't continue my education, I'm either going to be unemployed or working for minimum wage.
I want my money back.

Cable television is a waste of money. I've lived several years without it and I see no reason to pay for it once I have my own place.
I'd rather pay for a really great internet connection and just watch the TV shows I'm interested in on DVD, Netflix, etc. Quote:

I think Metroid Other M is a under rated game.

I didn't like Xenoblade Chronicles. I didn't like the character design* (which is a negligible complaint, but I feel like putting it out there), and the battles were boring. I seriously hate auto-attack. All it does is make the game something between real-time action and turn based, without excelling at being either. Its actually the same reason I couldn't get into FFXII**; I find the story and characters interesting, but just can't have fun with the battle system.
*By that I mean the character models, more than the actual art direction, which I am simply neutral towards. **Closest thing to the Xenoblade system that I've played.

I never liked pokemon anything.
Wii U Off-TV play is awesome and should be mandatory for every game. The 3D in the 3DS is a gimmick, I would rather have a crisper higher res screen in 2D. Most TV shows are absolute garbage these days. I love girls with glasses.

My unpopular Zelda opinions:
1. Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks are both in my Zelda Top 5! 2. I am NOT annoyed by Navi. 3. I am NOT annoyed by the owl. 4. I am NOT annoyed by Fi. 5. I think the four-swords-idea is cheasy. And kinda stupid. 6. I cannot appreciate Majora's Mask like the internet does. (Maybe in 3D?) 7. I think the graphics of Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask are awful. (Ocarina of Time 3D however has my favorite graphics in the series.) 8. I think the first two Zeldas are too hard and too cryptic to figure out without guides and walkthroughs. 9. I enjoy the Fire Temple music much more WITHOUT the islamic chants. I wanna be sucked into a magical world. I don't wanna hear, how great Allah is. 10. The Water Temple was easy.

Final Fantasy X was the best in series. Imo of course I only like the candy flavor watermelon and don't like the actual fruit I didn't like any of the zelda games till OOT. Majora's Mask is better then OOT. I don't like the new Eevee evolution. Futurama is better then the simpsons and family guy. Yet was cancelled.

I am into viewing how censorship works around the world, and how a country's ideals affects their ratings, view, and censorship of certain media. Hence my threads about ratings. (although a rating will not affect whether I play the game, unless it is 17/18+)
I could care less for most of the Mario platforming games. (What I've seen of Sunshine looks good. 64 and Galaxy 2 are awesome) I'm not into the most mainstream of music. (at least, mainstream for the US) In short, I despise the pop genre and the rap genre. Futurama is better than the Simpsons, and most Seth McFarlane productions are overrated. (American Dad being an exception)

-I don't care people says Prometheus is a stupid movie,i loved it.
-I am kinda scared that the metagame will be unbalanced again due to some megaevolutions (yeah,garchomp,Lucario,i am pointing at you) and that regular evolutions in older pok?mon will be no more. -3rd pok?mon gen was the best gen. -it bothers me that no other pok?mon gen than 3rd has introduced secret bases,and it would be great,imagine the game it would made with WIFI and streetpass!I also feel that it has lost a bit of the exploration charm. -I like to think game cube/advance generation was the best nintendo gen. -I am somewhat frustrated with Attack on titan rise to fame,back to when i was reading the manga in the very first days nobody liked it,now people just says it is great.Not just the anime,i read you... -there is not almost people who likes folk metal where i live,and the few people who like it are poser Asatruars or Hipsters playing Neopaganist and talking about workshipping trees. - I don't care about lyrics in music. I like the sound of vocals, but I like instrumentals as well.

- That's why I've only watched the first Iron Man and all of the Spider-Man movies. Not even Avengers, not even The Dark Knight. - People told me I've seen the first Lord of the Rings, but I can't remember a single bit of it. I even thought I haven't watched it. I should watch it again. - Vocaloids are mostly voices. I give credit to the producers and musicians, not to Miku, Luka, and the other fictional characters. - I've yet to start watching Breaking Bad. I think the J.J. Abrams Star Trek movies are overrated (09 was okay but Into Darkness was terrible)
I think the Kick-Ass movies are overrated. I don't care for the Spider-Man franchise. I don't care for comics in general (With some exceptions) The hate for Ben Affleck Batman was waaay overblown. In apart from the battle scenes I think the graphics in pokemon X & Y is very poor, a massive step up from The ds but for the capability of the 3ds its bad

For now it is Norway hate to say it but power wise the XBOX 1 and PS4 will blow the nintendo console out of the water as usual. The Wii U has a lot more potential than the regular Wii though. At least now it has a twin stick control with a lot more third parties backing it up. I like Nintendos handhelds more than thier home console they just get so much more support

- Bad Piggies is much, much better than Angry Birds. I found Angry Birds to be really boring, but Bad Piggies, actually fun.
- I feel like Candy Crush Saga is a Bejeweled ripoff. That's why I haven't tried the former. I like Bejeweled, though. - I don't mind simulated touch buttons on mobile and tablet games as long as they aren't too complex. I found A Link to the Past kind of boring.
Decided to play it since it receives lots of praise, plus A Link Between Worlds is coming up soon. Wasn't too bad, I just didn't get immersed into it. The only top down style Zelda I've enjoyed is The Minish Cap. Quote:

I thought luigi's mansion 2 sucked
The gameplay was repetitive and boring. You get farther into the game and the only new ghosts are just re colored versions of the old ones! Talk about ****ty. My thumb hurt so much from playing that game. The final boss was really easy too. |
