Default Trauma Center Wii U: Pointless Speculation Thread

FAQ:

But, Kinvara, I am a filthy casual. What is Trauma Center?

Trauma Center is a surgery simulation game series developed by Atlus for the DS and Wii.

The games include:

Trauma Center: Under the Knife (DS)
Trauma Center: Under the Knife 2 (DS)
Trauma Center: New Blood (Wii)
Trauma Center: Second Opinion (Wii) A remake of the first game.
Trauma Team (Wii)

Why should they make a Trauma Center game for Wii U?

Because the controls would be perfect on the gamepad and I like the series so there.

Discuss how amazing this series would be on Wii U. Then cry because it will never happen.

They have New Blood and Second Opinion at my Gamestop for like $5 each. Which should I play first?

Play both of them. At the same time

But, honestly, I'd get New Blood first.

Second Opinion is just a remake of the first DS game.

I got that ?2 mint and complete with everything. It is not bad at all. It would be a good game for the Wii U.

Trauma Team is at my local game store for 10 bucks. Still not sure cause of the other things besides surgery are supposedly not fun.

I do love the series though, hmmmm.

Trauma Team has the best story out of all the games. Stop being a butt and play it already.

My opinion on the other modes:

First Response is EXCELLENT and just as fun as surgery.

Orthopedics and Endoscopy are both decent but the controls can get awkward at times.

Forensics and Diagnosis play like visual novels but the story is pretty good so you'll get through them fine. You just won't ever play through them again because that's just how it is.

I remember playing New Blood for the Wii and enjoying it. I agree that the Wii U's gamepad would be the perfect tool for replicating a surgical procedure. Also, Atlus seems to really be on Nintendo's good side lately (FE x SMT); so I can definitely see this as a possibility.

I would prefer if they used the Wiimote for this game. Wii mote worked better than touch screen. It's much faster than the DS versions.

If it's on Wii U, they can have both control schemes and let people choose.
