The highly acclaimed, Portal-like "Q.U.B.E." will be heading to the Wii U! We still do not have any release dates; only that Toxic Games has already begun running beta tests. Q.U.B.E. was originally released on PC in December 2011, and found its way to Mac one year later.

"Set in a mysterious and abstract sterile environment, Q.U.B.E. (Quick Understanding of Block Extrusion) is a first-person puzzle game that challenges players to navigate each level by manipulating coloured cubes that surround them. There’s little to go on as the game begins – the player is dropped into an all-white room with few instructions, and simply has to figure their way out. The tone of game changes as the player finds small and big alterations to their environment, supported by an original score, inviting each player to let their imagination take over as to where they might be. Through experimentation and discovery, players will progress through an ever-evolving series of cube puzzles that will challenge them with logic, physics, platforming."



Is anyone else excited? I've read that the original game was brilliant. Only complaint I could find was that it was too short, so I'm hoping the developers take their time to expand the campaign. Maybe give it more depth.

Looks cool. Will it be a downloadable title, or retail?

It could go either way at this point, depending on how much effort the developers want to put in. It definitely has potential to be a full-fledged retail game if given a storyline and more context.

Looks awesome, definitely something I want to try out.

Possibly coming to Vita as well.
