Default Virtual Console launch lineup

Thought this deserved its own thread. Nintendo's Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?...4497086&type=3

The launch lineup is:
Balloon Fight
Donkey Kong Jr
Excitebike
Ice Climber
Kirby's Adventure
Punch-Out!!
F-Zero
Super Mario World

What a joke. They really have no clue how to run an online store. We'll be lucky if we get more than 3 games a week.

This is terrible. I don't want my VC games on the stupid "wii mode" that takes forever to use, I want them on the wiiu menu, and now I have to pay extra AND wait for the games I want transferred over to be supported!

I don't care that is $1, I do care that Nintendo is forcing me to pay money to get around their stupid ideas.
EDIT:Oh and I also like how the majority of the "launch" games are actually ones already on the wiiu shop, that's just great.

Why was there even a countdown when it's the same games that were shown in the Nintendo Direct?

The only acceptable delays should be the editing out copyrighted material or the changing of gameplay mechanics that required external peripherals.

Oooh, Super Mario World. I'll get that, if the price isn't ridiculous. $7.00 and I'll be happy.

But this line up is pretty week, and yeah, why did they have a countdown when we already knew about these? Geez guys.

At least the new system update will allow you to boot directly into Wii mode by holding the B button and reduce the amount of time it takes to go to the Wii's OS from the Wii U menu.

That kind of sucks...not sure of the issue but it shouldn't be difficult to make these games playable on the Wii U. It sure won't keep me from getting one since I have my Wii still but you would think this long wait for the VC, they would have a greater line up. This also doesn't bode well for any GCN games to come to the VC but I hope I am wrong.

That's nice, but a better option would just be the virtual console titles are on the wiiu menu and selecting the game boots it up into wii mode and I don't have to use the wii menu at all. The gamepad/miiverse support could then be the price of upgrading. I refuse to pay to fix a stupid mistake.
