So, I just ordered a Wii U and it should probably get here pretty soon. I just have one question, though. Since the Wii U doesn't support the GameCube controller, how are you supposed to play N64 games on the Wii U in Wii mode? For NES & SNES games (in Wii mode, not on the Wii U mode) I can just use the Classic Controller Pro, and I know I can use it with the N64 games, too, but won't the control be really awkward with the analog sticks at the bottom of the controller? Or are you forced to just use the D-Pad even with N64 games? If anyone has experience playing the N64 VC games like this, could you please tell me how it feels and if it is even worth playing until Nintendo releases N64 games for the Wii U VC (which then I can use the Wii U Pro Controller for, I hope)? On my Wii, I have always used a Classic Controller for N64 games. Why would it be awkward? The N64 had the analog stick in the middle of the controller.

Yeah, I know, but for someone who is so used to playing with the GC controller all his life, I'd think it might be. Wouldn't you?

I can't understand what you mean. I have always adjusted to controllers quickly, so that might be why. If you use th CC, you will eventually get used to it.

Imagine how tough it was adjusting to the n64 controller from the snes.
