The article is kind of old, but the point still remains. According to this developer, the Wiiu is a very capable machine.

A quick search of their website shows that Shin'en has never made a game for PS3/360, so I wouldn't exactly consider them a credible source when comparing consoles. I'm not saying the WiiU is weak at all, just pointing this one thing out.

Always buy the game first to see if you will enjoy the demo.

Wii U's GPU is a decent bump above the ones in the PS3 and 360. The thing you have to remember is that GPU generations are usually on the order of months, not years like consoles.

Great point, however, I'm sure they have gotten dev kits or tested the PS3/ Xbox 360's hardware out. And if they haven't, both systems' specs are widely known by now.

it's not like they've never messed around with ps3 or 360 devkits, or worked on pc

when they say generations they mean of gpu, not console generations (oh i guess logi already got that)

shinen are really technically talented people, so i'd interpret what they're saying as meaning that current wiiu games don't use its full potential. i don't really see any reason to doubt that statement.
