Been working on my town flag and my town tune. So far, I have custom My Melody and Hamtaro flags. My town tune is the theme to Yoshi's Story.
Here's the Hamtaro design. (I found the pattern online. It took me two hours to make this one. I'm so slow!)  Kisu likes hanging out and fishing on the dock. She's wearing her Hamtaro design right now.

Meh, I hate that. The last two that have moved into my town built in places I didn't want them in. One moved exactly where I wanted to place a bridge and the other is right next to the town hall where I wanted to put a bench or a fountain or something.

 isabelle was asleep this morning :3 so cute ^-^  and there was a double rainbow yesterday!!  and i just got upstairs today, so here is my room (and i just paid for my next upgrade, so i should get a bigger upststairs or something tomorrow) i got cyrus to change my bed and modern desk, my bed was an astro bed, but changed to blue/black, and my desk was remodeled with sapphire i found from a gem rock :3

Recently I've been talking to a Japanese girl I met on the International island. We meet a couple times a week to play in her town. Yesterday she asked me something out of the blue. She doesn't speak very good English, so she usually limits herself to small words and phrases. The fact that she asked me anything at all was weird in itself, but her question and the conversation that followed were even weirder. "Have you heard of Aika village?", she said. I thought maybe it was a real place in Japan or even the Japanese name for one of the shops in town. When I told her I hadn't heard about Aika Village, she gave me a sequence of numbers and told me to go there in the Dream Suite. Then she said something that made no sense to me at the moment. "Scary....", she remarked. I thought to myself,"How could anything in this world of gumballs and happiness be scary? She must be talking about something else." I asked her what was scary and she only replied,"Aika village."
Today after waking up and doing all my chores in town I realized I had some time before I was to get busy. Since I had nowhere to be, I decided to check out Aika Village for myself. The entrance to the dream village could only be described as ordinary. Nothing scary at all. I walked around Aika Village until I found the first house. This is what I encountered.  "How quaint.", I thought to myself. A little birthday dinner for the Mannequin family. They even had some odd music playing in the background. I joined in on the celebration. Didn't want to be rude to my hosts.  After my having a bit of fun, I decided to check the rest of the house. If this is all Aika Village had to offer, then I had nothing to worry about. The back room was blocked by a piece of furniture, so I had no choice but go to the next available room.  Countless toys were strewn about and there were even some cute (if not just a bit creepy) paintings there, too. It was a child's playroom. This must be where little Annie Mannequin plays.  I decided it was time to check out the rest of Aika Village. I bid farewell to my plastic hosts and made my way out.  The rest of the houses in Aika Village were very secluded and so I would have to travel quite a bit to reach them.  After making my way across the bridge that connected the two seemingly separate parts of Aika Village, I found myself in a maze  There were quite a few items placed around the maze. Lollipops, goody bags, some Bells, and even some cake.  There were also pitfall traps everywhere.  Panic started to set in as I thought i'd never escape the hellish maze.  But before I could start my descent into complete and utter fear, I managed to reach the next house.  I gathered all my courage and made my way in.  Upon entering the house, I was greeted by a strange sight.  A girl that I had not seen before. She wore the same red clothing that the little mannequin was sporting back in the first house. I thought it was odd, but shook my head and continued with my exploration.  Unfortunately, she was blocking my path. The LED signs kept telling me to walk, but I could go no further. I had no choice but to check out the other rooms in the house.  I made my way into the basement and found yet another celebration. This time it was a tea party for some porcelain dolls.  Usually, I would have laughed at the sight in front of me, but my previous trek through the maze had all but drained me of my good cheer. The room was eerie and disturbing.  I left the basement and ascended to the room upstairs. The girl in red clothing was still there blocking my path. When I entered the upstairs room I found only four things.  A perfect man, a perfect woman, a perfect apple and a snake.  Perturbed by what I had seen, I made my way downstairs only to find the girl in red clothing was gone. "You've come this far," I thought to myself. I decided to check out the room in the back.  I made my way through the maze of stools. It was difficult to navigate in the dark.  After a minute or so, I finally reached the entrance to the back room. I was not prepared for what was to come.  The room that lay before me was even more disturbing than the last. Toys everywhere and all of them facing away from me.  It was like they were shunning me.  I was about ready to leave, when I decided to give the room one last look.  .....I was being watched.  I had to leave that place before the last bit of my sanity escaped from within me. I made my way through the small maze as quickly as I could. Upon reaching the door I noticed that the girl in red clothing was back.  Her words meant nothing to me.  I was done with Aika Village. Not wanting to go through the maze again, I checked the map for an easier route. If I could reach the beach at the far end of town, I could travel through it and make my way to the exit. I started walking.  The lanscape I saw as I made my way to the beach was one of death.  Continued in the next post....

There were weeds growing everywhere and dead trees were littered about.
 Before I knew it...  I had reached another house.  I wanted nothing more than to be done with this nightmare, but I entered the house anyways.  It was like I was being controlled by some outside force.  Truly I was in hell.  I had to get away from the red doll. I had seen her before and I was not comfortable being in the room with her.  I found my way through the maze of bookshelves as fast as I could.  In one of the corners of the room I found a painting of a girl with a purple dress and what seemed to be the red doll.  I finally found the way to next room, but what I saw in there made me wish I had stayed lost forever.  The same girl in purple.  The same red doll.  As I stood there looking at the fire in the chimney, I briefly contemplated jumping in.  I sat down for a second in order to regain my composure. "I will not let this town beat me.", I thought to myself.  I left the room and traveled through the bookshelf maze once again.  I found yet another room. With my courage renewed, I decided to go inside.  My new-found bravery would not last.  The room was plastered with drawings of the girl in purple.  It's as if the red doll was obsessed with the girl and this was her twisted shrine.  I ventured into the bookshelf maze and found one final room. There were pieces of paper everywhere and in the center of it all were two glass cases each containing a single book.  The first book seemed to be a diary of some sort with a 4-leaf clover in it. I could not read the book, so I ignored it for the time being. The second book in the room was a picture book. I decided to flip through it.  It contained quite a few child-like drawings.    A little girl's private possessions on display for the entire world to see. I had to leave that place.  I began walking towards the beach once again.  I was getting closer and closer every second.  I could see the beach. I was almost free.  Before I could make my escape, I saw her in the distance.  I could have sworn I had left the girl in red clothing behind me, and yet there she was in front of the last house in Aika Village.  To be concluded in the next post.

It looked like she was beckoning me to come inside. I must have gone temporarily insane from fear, because that's exactly what I did.
 The house was in a state of pure chaos.  All of the furnishings were either toppled over or on the floor.  Though the house was completely destroyed, you could tell that this had once been a home. It's as if some unknown entity had come suddenly during a family meal and eradicated the happy scene.  I walked to the back room hoping to find some clue as to what had happened there.  I found no revelations there, only more terror.  Inside the room was a mannequin with the same red clothes I had seen countless times before and the red doll.  I left as quickly as I could. Without realizing what had happened, I had found my way to the final room in the house.  It was there that it finally dawned on me what had happened.  This was no longer a village in the world of Animal Crossing. Aika Village was the sick, twisted world of little red doll that took on a life of its own and did away with its owners. This was her reality now and no one else's  I left the house as fast as my legs would allow me to leave.  And I ran.  I had to leave before I became I became another stone on the ground.  And I didn't stop running...  until I was finally free.    But seriously, Aika Village was a real treat to see. These screenshots and my meager descriptions don't do it justice. Three weeks and one day in and I still haven't been able to get a slingshot...
 I find it funny how much our character overreacts to getting an item from a drawer.  Playing the piano... but where are the instruments I play, Nintendo? >.> Seems to me that they're the only ones missing from the game.

 Yep, I'm new to the game...  I payed off my loan and also ordered my first house expansion. The bells for those were a welcoming gift from MrTripStack ^-^ I'm really enjoying playing Animal Crossing much more than I thought I would! To my eyes it seemed a time waster, just something to not get bored, but now I'm hooked! And I asume it only gets better since I only have a small house and I have yet to do any public projects.     So, I've been doing a lot of work on my house's main room and I thought I'd share a few screenshots. I have a small "living room" area, a small office, a reading area, and a sitting area in front of the fireplace that stores my various trophies. I must say, I'm really liking the way this room's turned out so far! Also, you can see my very first Jacob's Ladder behind me in one of the pictures. I just found it this morning and I'm happy that my town's finally reached a perfect status.

i cant remember posting day 4's picture, so here it is
 day 5, with my perfect apple tree  and this was one of my rocks today! so there was 1 regular gem rock with 1 amethyst and this one, no money rock but i got a lot more gems
