Don't take my word for it, but I've heard that link's design is from Skyward Sword because he's holding the sword with his left hand? (anybody confirm this?)

Link is supposed to be left handed, he's only right handed in Skyward Sword and the Wii version of Twilight Princess. He's left handed in the original as well, it's just that they simply inverted his sprite, made it look like he switched hand when he turned around.

Anyway, Link looks f*cking epic in the Smash Bros. trailer and I hope we get a new Zelda game with this art style.

I think that in the Zelda Wii U game Zelda will be captured by a pizza monster. He makes her eat so much pizza she becomes morbidly obese. Link has to help her get back in shape. With the help of the Wii fit trainer the two are unstoppable. You have to get Zelda to eat healthy and run on the treadmill with her. After awhile you save up enough money from working at stop and slash, and get enough money to buy the master treadmill. This will help fight off all the fat much easier. You beat the game when Zelda goes from 857 pounds to 3 pounds.

That would be a great game.

I haven't liked the way Link looked since OOT he just keeps getting girlish looking .-.

Girlish looking? The only game he looks really weird in is skywardsword, but definitely not at all in twilight princess and just like a little kid as toon link.

Define girlish? He looked the most masculine in Twilight princess. Wind waker was toon link and cartoonish, as were phantom hourglass and spirit tracks. Minish cap, Four swords and four swords adventure were just classic link in new graphics, not much in judging whether he looks masculine or feminine. I won't bother commenting on oracle of ages or seasons. Skyward Sword is just adult toon link, so I don't see what you mean.

Yes yes and yes again. Would love this link design. Looks so smooth and well made. Im sure this will be his look in the new Zelda.
