Wind Waker isn't the bundle that the WiiU needs at the moment. But I admit, Nintendo made a smart move with the figurine as it clearly targets Zelda fans.
In EU we will get a Lego City bundle, which is not a good choise either as Lego City has been out for long enough...

Too bad the limited edition design is pretty much just a tiny decal on the game pad.

Honestly, this should have come out in sea blue; what is more reminiscent of Wind Waker than the colour of the never ending ocean?

The smart thing to do would be: Buy some decals of the same design, somewhere for somewhere around $12. Looks just the same, just as great.

I'm debating on getting this or waiting till Black Friday. I don't really care for the game being digital, would prefer a physical copy but still not a terrible deal especially with all the games coming out this Holiday season for the Wii U.

Never buying a Nintendo console at launch again. 3DS had nothing until Ocarina of Time, and then nothing again until the holidays. Wii U had some good launch titles and stuff like Lego City, but Pikmin 3 took until August. $80 price drop on 3DS and I get 20 games, okay. $50 price drop on Wii U along with a special edition, and no word of an ambassador program. Some people's arguments are launch and early buyers got to play it this whole time, except all big games come out after the price drop.

While I know the Wii U is going to be getting some amazing games, I could have gotten it for cheaper, with a special edition, and played all the games I did while waiting for the others. Nintendo better put out some excellent software for their next handheld/console or the numbers will be even worse.
