So I purchased the Disney Infinity game for the Wii, and I was not satisfied with the limitations of the regular Wii version! I've decided it's time I just get a Wii U... But I can't return the whole Infinity game.

Does anyone know if I can just buy the disc of the Infinity game for the Wii U separately?

And also, does the launcher pad thingy work for the Wii U? I don't think the launcher and figures are console specific. So what I want to do is just get the Wii U disc of Infinity, and then purchase a Wii U, and then plug the launcher I got from the Wii pack into the Wii U...

So where can I get an infinity disc separately, without buying another starter pack! They're quite expensive!

I'd imagine you could find spare discs for Infinity on eBay, or maybe from a local mom and pop game store. Since the disc isn't sold by itself in stores (nor does GameStop take used copies of only the disc). I know the figures aren't console specific. As for the launcher/Infinity base, I think it will work as both the Wii and Wii U bases have the USB plug. So after you get the Wii U version, try out the Wii base. If it doesn't work, I'm pretty sure there would be spare Wii U bases on eBay.
