Default Leaving Pokemon in the Daycare

Hey guys,

I have a question, that hopefully someone will be able to answer.

I want to leave my Pokemon in the Daycare Centre, so they can level up, but what I'm generally wondering is if I do that, will that affect the EVs of those Pokemon that you trained up in Super Training?

Hopefully I've worded that all correctly and you can understand what I mean.
Thanks in advance if you're able to be of assistance.

Your EVs will stay the same.

Daycare is just like rare candy. It boost levels (or in case of daycare, boost experience) while having no bonuses of EVs. That's why people often think rare candy weakens your pokemon while it actually has no penalty unless the pokemon reaches level 100 prior to having all it's EVs used up.

So no, Day care will not alter EVs in any way whatsoever

Except now you can EV train at level 100. You can level to 100, EV train on wild Pokemon, reset with berries/reset bag, EV train in Super Training, etc.

So will the stats go up, like if Attack was one of the things you Super Trained for example, like you would if you leveled up normally?

Sorry if that was clarrified in one of the post, but I pretty much only recently started getting into this EV stuff, so I don't have a lot of knowledge on it either.

But thanks for giving me answers too.

If you Super Training before putting it in the daycare, then your stat changes will reflect the Super Training while you level up. The Daycare will not add new EV points though, so you dont have to worry about it messing up your EVs.

Ahh, so if I take back what ever Pokemon at level 98 or something, it won't have EVs? If I'm understanding this correctly.

So what I'm gaining from this knowledge, it's better to Super Train your Pokemon after leaving them in the Daycare?

For what i know you can still increase EVs with supertraining or vitamins (proteine, zinc, etc)even if they reached max level. albeit vitamines have a top;you can just reach them to 100 EVs per stat with them.

Well, thanks for the helpful information.
It's all confusing, but I'm sure I'll know what I'm doing.

No. It will have the EVs you have already gained before putting it in the daycare. It will not gain any new EVSs.
