Angry Serious problem with my 3ds :(

Ok, I dont know what the hell is wrong with my 3ds but im experiencing some weird problems. Last night I played my 3ds for a hour. Then when I placed it down on the table (without turning off and in open position) the 3ds automatically restarted. At first I thought this was normal but when the system powered on after the restart, the lower screen started to flicker with some green lines horizontally going through the screen. I immediately powered it off. Then when I powered it back on, everything was normal. What the hell? Any help guys?

Sounds like you have a loose cable there.

That cable connects both screens. And when its loose, you will see green lines on the bottom screen.

Its time for you to call Nintendo. How's your warranty?

My warranty has ended. I emailed nintendo and they said that I have a "bootcamp" error. Again, I dont know what that is and they also said that it will cost nearly $85. But hey if its just a loose connection then why dont I just fix it myself? I have fixed a loose connection in my wii before.

Be warned though, if it's not a loose connection and you open up your 3DS, Nintendo might charge you more to fix it or they won't do it at all. It's one of those roads, sadly.

I found out what was causing the problem. If I bump my 3ds on the lower right corner (where the power LED is) the system automatically restarts. And some times the screens go black with a screeching sound. (like when you pull out a cartridge in GBA while its on). I need some serious help guys! PLEASE!

Please any help?

I'd recommend YouTube. My PSP was broken for months, and I found a fix.
