I think you can only have one 3DS linked to your NNID at a time anyway. Something like that.

Nintendo ID: DarkK2

I set my original ID on Wii U for Mexico, but that ID can't use the american eShop, so I use my backup ID on 3DS to combine both eShop balances and access the US eShop.

Working on adding people to both of my accounts! I mostly use my Japanese 3DS, since I live in Japan, but I do use my American 3DS on occasion (Especially recently, since Link Between Worlds hasn't released in Japan yet!).

This is asking someone for your NNID.

You have the option to either give out your NNID to people or not.
