I hope this game has actually better graphics than what was shown in the video. Man, the Samurai Warriors franchise hasn't changed their graphics since the PS2. It looks pretty ****ty for current gen and I hope they show some respect towards the Zelda franchise and actually make it somewhat more good-looking and not another Samurai Warriors clone...

I guess they focus more on having more enemies on the screen simultaneously instead of awesome graphics, can't really have both.

Nop, it can... All the other versions of Samurai Warriors had tons of enemies on the screen with the same graphics. Now, on a new, more powerful console, all these enemies can be shown with better graphics (see Dead Rising 3).

The problem is, we don't know if this game will be a standalone Zelda story with its own plot and characters or if it will just be a hack and slash game featuring a variety of Zelda characters from many games without a certain plot, just a reason to kill.

I expect a mixture of these 2. The game will probably have a weak plot which will be the reason to kill and march forward. There won't probably be many new characters nor many old ones. Just the standart ones who appear in every Zelda title.

To sum up... If Zelda is a playable character whom will you be saving this time?

BTW, anyone else surprised about the prominence of the main villain's breasts? I know Team Ninja is involved, but the last time a Zelda game had breasts like that they were essentially made of about 5 polygons.

If it's anything like other Dynasty Warriors, then it is a hack-n-slash game. However, the Dynasty Warriors games I hear tend to have a lot of strategy involved in many levels, as I have experienced first hand.

So Impa is playable... SWEET! Really want to know if anyone else is playable... Knowing the Warriors franchise, there are usually dozens of characters to choose from. Makes me wonder if this game will dig into the Zelda franchise to see how many playable characters they can get out of this.

The bad guys looks fairly generic (except maybe the wizard dude). The main villain in particular looks... like something you WOULD see out of a Warriors game. I would joke that Team Ninja might have a hand in it, but I think enough jokes have been made at their expense.

Well, Ganon isn't the villain so it's not impossible that there may be a plot twist in which Ganon temporarily joins the good side. As stated, Aonuma was surprised after seeing the playable characters.

Oh, as for other possible playable characters, excluding boss characters in human form, as well as main antagonists from previous games such as Ganondorf, Ghirahim, Demis, Agahnim, Twinrova, Vaati, Shadow/Dark Link, and Zant... Well, there's Midna from Twilight Princess. Whether she be human or imp, I wouldn't mind either way. I REALLY want an incarnation of Groose to be in this game, because Groose is awesome! A Skull Kid could be playable, but not necessarily the Majora's Mask Skull Kid. The Old Man from the original The Legend of Zelda? Or perhaps a good Moblin who wants to Help Link out? OH, OH, OH, they should definitely make Link's Uncle playable, or a character based on Link's Uncle from A Link to the Past! I would also like to see a playable Goron, a playable Zora, and maybe even a playable Deku Scrub, if they could do that. How about Ralph from Oracle of Ages? I think that would be cool.

...You think Tingle could be playable? Or maybe "Error" from Zelda II: The Adventure of Link, as a joke character? Perhaps Richard, original from a Japanese game called "For the Frog the Bell Tolls" who made a cameo in Link's Awakening, can be playable?

zelda has never really had an "all star" game featuring cast from throughout the series, so i'm excited to see what it brings about.

...You know, when Eiji Aonuma said that he was very surprised with the characters they chose for this game, I was kind of hoping it was because they chose obscure characters no one would remember... not characters who've never been shown fighting and I highly doubt anyone was asking for a return. I mean, Agitha? Really? I still can't get over that, and I probably never will... I don't have much to say about Lana, though it's nice to have some new playable characters thrown into the mix. I'm still holding out for Groose to join in the mix, as well as Link's Uncle from A Link to the Past.

...Finally! It took like, what, 28 years, but they finally made Zelda a freaking queen! I don't know why people want Skull Kid is a playable character. I mean Majora's Mask is my favorite Zelda but meh at the idea of Skull Kid being playable. The only thing I think they could do to make him special is an attack that drops the moon. But every character in the game can already do that. Majora's Mask would make for a neat boss, though. As for like Dark Link and Ravio, they'd be waste of character slots. I'd rather see them as alt costumes. Just let the Groose loose already.

I'm sure I've said this a lot, but I'm no Zelda guy. But having Skull Kid playable in this game is a no-brainer, no? It's a game with a huge roster, with characters from all over the series. Why not one of the major characters from one of the games? (He is a major character, right? Never played MM.)

Skull Kid honestly isn't as significant in the scheme of the series as some Zelda fans would lead you to believe, serving as antagonist in 1 game and having a minor role in 2 other games. That being said, he's the only main (kinda) antagonist of a 3D Zelda game who isn't Ganondorf (... or pseudo-Ganondorf), which does make him seem like a good fit. However, one of his no-brainer abilities, dropping the moon, is something that everyone in the game can do, which makes me more wary of his chances, because he doesn't do a whole lot else in the game.

However, he's only kinda the main antagonist, the true antagonist being Majora himself, who I think makes more sense as a character/boss at this point. Mostly because moonwalking around the battlefield sounds incredible.

Skull Kid honestly isn't as significant in the scheme of the series as some Zelda fans would lead you to believe, serving as antagonist in 1 game and having a minor role in 2 other games. That being said, he's the only main (kinda) antagonist of a 3D Zelda game who isn't Ganondorf (... or pseudo-Ganondorf), which does make him seem like a good fit. However, one of his no-brainer abilities, dropping the moon, is something that everyone in the game can do, which makes me more wary of his chances, because he doesn't do a whole lot else in the game.

However, he's only kinda the main antagonist, the true antagonist being Majora himself, who I think makes more sense as a character/boss at this point. Mostly because moonwalking around the battlefield sounds incredible.

Oh. It just seems odd that no sites seem to report on that fact. And based on leaked info I've seen, there aren't any extra characters. But I guess there's the possibility of stuff being completely hidden in the game that hasn't been found yet or there's always the possibility of DLC.

i am playing it and it is fun

I think that was the first level I actually lost in(I kept losing our main base from the boulders during some of the enemy raids), the second skyward sword stage also had a fun level of difficulty.

I really love some of the hectic battles this game can have, running back and forth between bases and objectives trying to juggle everything and take priority. A very enjoyable game so far.

It adds Wizzro, Cia, and Volga as playable characters and can be downloaded right now.

The Master Quest DLC is also out in the US and EU($8. Included in the Hero of Hyrule pack if you bought that already). The trailer is below.

It's literally the most obvious use.

Same. I've gotten Captain Toad and Rainbow Curse but I keep coming back to Hyrule Warriors because there's still SO MUCH to do.
