I've got a bit of an odd question perhaps.

Is it possible to sell someone the Download Code you get with a Wii U bundle?

I'd like to buy a Wii U and have my eye on the Zelda Wind Waker Bundle.
The bundle comes with a download code for the game, not the physical game.
So I figured just to buy the regular premium pack but those are more expensive than a game bundle.
If I buy the Zelda Bundle I end up buying a physical copy anyway, so I figured I might sell it. If possible.

Do any of you guys know if this is possible? Or are the download codes tied to the system?

I think it might be possible. It doesn't make sense for download codes to be tied to a single system. If that's the case, then what was preventing Nintendo from having the software pre-installed from the start? Being 2.6GB in size, it could fit on the Basic and Deluxe Wii U models.

The code won't be tied to the system until it is used on the system, so it will work. You can sell it.
