Currently just 2. Zelda LBW 3DS XL unopened and Mario & Luigi Dream Team 3DS XL which is my current daily. I owned a day one black one for a while but gave it to a cousin around the holidays when I bought the XL's.

if that white xl ever came over here i would have another but now i just have blue 3ds

Launch day cosmo black 3DS and launch day red 3DS XL. My original 3DS developed a flaky top screen backlight about a month before the 3DS XL launch (which I have not gotten repaired).

Are most of them unopened?

Sold my launch aqua 3ds for a black XL

I only have the launch Cosmos Black 3DS and I love it.
I really like its design, portability and high pixel density in contrast with the 3DS XL.

Launch day Aqua Blue console and the Zelda LBW XL. Not planning on buying another unless there's another improved model, which I doubt is happening.

Just one, thats all I need to play the games with. I dropped the Launch Day Black one like a bad habit once the XL came out. After I transferred my stuff first of course.

I only have one; a normal blue XL. I doubt I'll ever have more than one at a time, 'cause I'll probably continue selling/giving the older one whenever I buy a new model, like I did with my Midnight Purple 3DS after upgrading to an XL.

I knew I should've gotten that Animal Crossing XL when it was released. I was holding out in hopes that the eventual Pok?mon XL would be cooler, but I wasn't a fan. Why can't they just give us those all white XL's already?

Well my original ambassador 3DS died because of an accident, so I went to buy a Flare Red one. Then that one one day just stopped working all together, so I went to get a purple 3DS, but they were all sold out, so I got the Aqua Blue 3DS instead. After that I decided to send the red 3DS for repairs and sell it to a friend, so that's why I currently have 2 working 3DSes.

No idea why someone would like to have 6, though I'm not against the idea of someone owning that many, specially if they are limited edition ones.

That red 3DS XL broke in half and was replaced by another one.

I used to have an ambassador aqua blue 3DS and a red/black XL, I sold those after transferring everything to my current Zelda 3DS XL, best one ever if you ask me
I once contemplated to buy back an aqua blue 3DS, but after playing on one again put me off since I really like playing on the large screen better and after playing with it for 10 minutes really gave me eye strain which I do not experience with the XL.

I have 4, but I really only use 2 of them regularly. Just upgraded to XLs and picked up some limited editions.

I've got two. Have a blue XL, and got the Zelda Limited Edition for Christmas. Debating on whether or not I should sell the old one, or give it to my sister. Not really strapped for cash, but I fear what she may do to it.

Soon to have two of them. I currently own a flame red original model & have just pre ordered the new Yoshi 3DS XL

i have a gold xl and a flame red 3ds.

I have one. I really don't understand why you would want multiple, because it's just wasting money to keep a few and only play one. Why not sell the others and make some money? If it's because of the design, well, you might as well just buy some decals, and keep the $90+ for something else.

Why is it difficult to understand? Not everyone feels content with just the one first system they've owned. It is tempting with all the awesome looking limited edition systems that keep coming out. Sure, you can easily buy cheap skins to 'change the colour' or decals, but it's still not the same nor anywhere near as good as the real thing.

To some people it's worth the money if they enjoy collecting, to hold onto systems to sell once their rarity value has gone up, or simply own a 2nd 3DS that's a different size or region.

Anyways... I own two at the moment. A pink XL and the gold A Link Between Worlds XL. I haven't decided if I wanna sell the pink one, it has a crack on the shell casing. I might just keep it around in case a visiting relative ever wants to play local co-op on something.

I have 2:

A white PAL 3DSXL and a red US pokemon 3DSXL. I put a pokemon hard plastic case over my white one, so it feels like I have two pokemon edition systems.

I bought my second console so I could play US games (as it's easier to find US versions of games than PAL at times) and games that never made it to the PAL regions.

I do understand why people get consoles for less practical reasons though - I am a collector myself (just, not of 3ds consoles...thankfully. That would hurt the wallet).

I have an original Aqua blue one that I bought in july 2011, but when I was in Florida in 2013 I made the grave mistake of letting my 4 year old niece play with my system and it came back to me with a broken screen. Profound sadness. I never had any plans to own 2 3dses but I needed to get another. I waited for an announcement for a pokemon 3ds which happened then went ahead and got that one. I kept my aqua 3ds cuz I still love the color and design.

I have an Ice White 3DS, Lavender Pink, Crimson Red, and Pokemon X XL and Pokemon Y XL (Red and Blue).

I'm gonna say two because my first one (Cosmo Black) that I got few months after launch recently got water damage. I now have a Black XL that I got for my birthday last week.

I have 2. I have the original Aqua blue that i bought the day it came out and the Yoshi limited edition 3dsxl. I want to buy a 2ds just to have it but im still thinking on that one.
My original first blue xl i sold it and the pokemon x limited edition i sold it to get the yoshi that i love!
