Nintendo has confirmed that a Yoshi themed 3DS XL console will be released in Europe on the 14th March but the bundle will not contain a copy of the game.

It seems that the bundle will also be available in Australia & New Zealand as well. No news on a North American release yet.

It's growing on me. I wasn't too fond of it at first, but it is pretty cool looking. I kind of wish it were a darker green though, and that Yoshi wasn't so small on it. I'll consider getting it anyway.

I was thinking white as well since the bottom half is white so it would make sense to be white inside as well. But would be nice to know for sure as i have pre ordered it & would like to know exactly what im going to be getting.

I also think it's white inside, based on the white hinge and white shell back.

The bundle deal offered with GAME is pretty nice. A free Yoshi Egg Game Case is included with the XL and a copy of the game.

It better come to North America lol. I am kind of a collector, but only to the stuff I like. I don't like Pokemon but the SE Pokemon red and blue edition XLs look cool enough I have thought about picking them up. The SE bundle I wish Nintendo would do would have to be a Samus Aran 3DS/XL. Of course that would mean putting out a new Metroid game as well which I would totally be okay with. Hell, even if they redid Super Metroid in HD and 3D, they could do a SE bundle with that.

Maybe not. Thanks to leaked ads from Toys R Us and Kmart the Yoshi 3DS XL may see a North American release after all.

I'm a bit confused as to why Yoshi's New Island isn't bundled with the game. Seeing as most game themed 3DS systems have the game they're tied with bundled it.

Gotta love that green and white scheme. I would personally prefer it w/o the Yoshi (place him on the bottom, perhaps?)
