I thought Vanilla Oblivion was fun for a while.
Mod Oblivion is on a whole other level. Hours and hours spent on the game. I still go back just to hear some good old "Stop Criminal Scum"

One of my all time favorite games, my favorite Elder Scrolls game for sure, I've had it for over a year and I still play every once in a while. You don't have the chance to miss enemies like in Morrowind (Only real complaint with Morrowind), and imo has better quests than the other two I've played (Morrowind and Skyrim). Looks great for it's age, I especially like that it's more colorful than Morrowind and Skyrim (mostly Skyrim), and holy **** Shivering Isles, the best add on/DLC/expansion for any game I've ever played. Only complaints are the soundtrack and casting destruction spells. the soundtrack is good, I'm still not tired of hearing the songs, and they work well for what's happening: but I like the ones for Morrowind and Skyrim better; and casting destruction spells isn't nearly as cool or easy as in Skyrim, but it makes up for it in my opinion with custom spells. Why were those removed in Skyrim?!

I absolutely recommend to it anyone who hasn't played it.

BTW Is that your YouTube channel?

I have not modded Oblivion, so for Vanilla, im not very fond of it. I hate the fact that the enemies scale up in "level" as you do, so you never seem to get more powerful. The enemies still take the same number of hits to take down, no matter how high in level or stats you get.

Modding probably fixes this somewhat, but I haven't partaken. I prefer Skyrim in that regard.

Yeah I can agree with that to a point, it wouldn't make sense to run into a high level Caterpie, based on your party's average level, then the only viable way to ev train would be super training (or using low level Pokes). But I think it works for this game, or at least it works well for bandits and dremoras since their loot usually "levels up" with them. It would make sense to get better loot the higher level you are, then it could be a little more of a challenge to get better loot; however creatures like goblins and trolls should stay at a fixed level since they give you the same loot no matter how high a level you are. **** those guys.
